Disclosed is a server system for performing communication over a wireless network. At least one client device transmits and receives data over the wireless network. A server device performs a state monitoring or controlling operation for the at least one client device. In the server device, an encoder compresses and encodes data to be transmitted that includes a double buffer storing the encoded data. A network renderer transmits the data encoded by the encoder to a corresponding client device over the wireless network. A buffer manager detects an overflow of the buffer storing the data encoded by the encoder and issues a control signal for pausing an encoding operation when the overflow is detected. Therefore, the server system can avoid data loss and system shutdown caused by transmission delay and can ensure stability of the server system performing communication with a wireless network.

Because a transmission rate can be set appropriately to the network state, the number of unnecessary retransmissions can be reduced. Therefore, transmission delay can be avoided and stable and rapid wireless communication can be achieved.

The Web pad is detachably mounted on the Internet refrigerator, and transmits and receives data to/from the Internet refrigerator on the basis of a remote display protocol (RDP). The Web pad is a client Web pad detachably mounted on an outer surface of the Internet refrigerator. The client Web pad is adapted to receive a display signal transmitted from the Internet refrigerator and output the received display signal externally. A server control unit is provided to transmit the display signal to the client Web pad on the basis of the remote display protocol such that data processed in the Internet refrigerator is displayed through the client Web pad. A heat sink plate faces a surface of the main board and absorbs heat generated from the chip set. A pipeline having both ends connected to an interior of a cooled compartment of the refrigerator is arranged to contact a lower surface of the main board at a portion thereof. Additionally, a cooling fan can be arranged in the cooled compartment of the refrigerator for introducing cold air from the cooled compartment of the refrigerator into the pipeline.
