Provided is an information providing method for aligning an X-ray tube and a detector of a mobile X-ray apparatus, the information providing method including: obtaining first angle information which relates to the X-ray tube by using a first angle measurement sensor which is connected to the X-ray tube; obtaining second angle information which relates to the detector by using a second angle measurement sensor which is connected to the detector; and outputting rotation information for guiding a rotation direction and a rotation angle of the X-ray tube or a rotation direction and a rotation angle of the detector such that an angle between a first plane which is set with respect to the X-ray tube and a second plane which is set with respect to the detector is within a predetermined angle range, based on the first angle information and the second angle information.

A monopolar membrane electrode assembly (MEA) for a fuel cell, for example, includes: an electrolyte membrane; anode and cathode electrodes formed on opposite surfaces of the electrolyte membrane, respectively; current collecting bodies that form electrical paths of electricity generated from an electricity generation reaction between the anode and cathode electrodes and the electrolyte membrane; and sensing elements to measure changes in operation state conditions during electricity generation and electrical connection. A fuel cell system capable of computing fuel level stored in a fuel tank, and more particularly to a fuel cell system capable of computing fuel level without using a flux sensor or flow rate sensor includes: a fuel tank storing fuel; a stack for generating electricity by the electro-chemical reaction of the fuel; a fuel pump for transferring fuel from the fuel tank to the stack; a fuel pump for transferring the fuel from the fuel tank to the stack; a pumping controller for generating a pump control signal controlling the pumping operation of the fuel pump; and a fuel level computing unit for computing the amount of fuel used and fuel level from the waveform of the pump control signal. In some embodiments, the fuel cell system informs a user when the fuel level is low, with reduced manufacturing costs.

A fuel cell includes a fuel cell stack, a buffer, an actuator, and a control circuit. The control circuit controls the operation of the actuator according to a reference value of a reference volume of fuel disposed in the buffer. The fuel cell is operated by measuring a value corresponding to a volume of fuel disposed in the buffer, comparing the value with a reference value, and operating the actuator according to a result of the comparison.

A liquid fuel cartridge of a direct liquid feed fuel cell for storing liquid fuel, supplying the liquid fuel to a fuel cell, and recovering water from the cathode of the fuel cell stack. The liquid fuel cartridge has a liquid fuel supplying hole formed at one end, a recovery hole formed at a second end, and a moveable wall that separates the water from the liquid fuel. When water is pumped in through the recovery hole, the moveable wall slides in the fuel cartridge and expels the liquid fuel into the fuel cell stack. The fuel cartridge also includes a transparent window or a metal detector for determining the position of the moveable wall and, thus, the quantity of liquid fuel remaining in the fuel cartridge.

An activation method and system to selectively activate defective cells in a laminated fuel cell stack. The system includes a tank to store a polar solvent used to activate the cells; a body including a transfer unit to transfer the polar solvent to the fuel cell stack and a control unit to control the transfer unit; and a nozzle coupled to the body, to be inserted into an inlet manifold of the fuel cell stack. The nozzle has an opening positioned opposite to a channel inlet of at least one non-activated cell of the plurality of cells, to jet the polar solvent into only a channel of the non-activated cell, through the opening.
