A gearshift control apparatus of a vehicle includes: a sensor configured to measure a speed, a brake position sensor (BPS) value, and an accelerator position sensor (APS) value of the vehicle, and a controller configured to, in a gearshift section spaced apart by a preset distance from a speed bump located on a road on which the vehicle travels, (i) calculate a deceleration of the vehicle and a gradient of the road after the speed bump, (ii) determine a correction factor corresponding to the deceleration of the vehicle and the gradient of the road, and (iii) perform a gearshift to a shift stage corresponding to the correction factor and the speed of the vehicle.

A dust collecting unit of a vacuum cleaner has a dust collecting body including a first dust separating unit for separating dust from air and a first dust storing unit for storing the separated dust. A cover member is coupled to the dust collecting body and a second dust separating unit for further separating dust from the air is formed in the cover member. There is provided a dust compressing apparatus for a dust collecting unit of a vacuum cleaner. In the dust compressing apparatus, a compartment plate divides an inner space of a dust collection container into an upper foreign substance separating compartment and a lower foreign substance storing compartment, and a branching unit guides airflow. The branching unit includes a motor connection passage directed to a motor generating a negative pressure, a dust collection passage directed to the foreign substance separating compartment, and a compression passage directed to the foreign substance storing compartment. A flow passage control unit controls connections between the passages of the branching unit. A compression unit compresses foreign substances stored in the foreign substance storing compartment by moving the compartment plate to the foreign substance storing compartment using the negative pressure transmitted through the compression passage.
