A display system is provided. The display system includes a display apparatus configured to display an image, an image providing apparatus configured to provide an image, and a remote control device configured to transmit a control signal for controlling the image providing apparatus. A disc centering device includes a base plate, a chuck which is installed on the base plate, a hub unit which is detachably engaged to the chuck and receives discs to be stacked, disc pushers which are slidably provided outside the hub unit and include corresponding pressure members which center the discs by pushing circumferences of the discs, and a driving unit which slides the disc pushers simultaneously. Accordingly, as the accuracy of centering the discs is improved, discs with data recorded thereon having a uniform quality can be obtained. Additionally, vibration of a rotation body can be minimized due to the simple configuration the disc centering device. Therefore, in view of the simplified maintenance and repair of the disc centering device, the productivity and manufacturability of HDDs can be improved.

Disc centering device

A disc centering device includes a base plate, a chuck which is installed on the base plate, a hub unit which is detachably engaged to the chuck and receives discs and spacers to be stacked, disc pushers which are slidably provided outside the hub unit and include corresponding pressure members which center the discs by pushing circumferences of the discs, a driving unit which slides the disc pushers, and biasing units which are slidably provided outside the hub unit and push circumferences of the spacers. Accordingly, by performing a spacer biasing along with a disc centering, the accuracy of a centering is increased, thereby providing the discs having data recorded thereon with a uniform quality. Additionally, vibration of a rotation body can be minimized due to the simple configuration of the disc centering device. Furthermore, the productivity and manufacturability of HDDs are improved in view of the simplified maintenance and repair of the same.

A disk recording device to manufacture hard disk drives. This disk recording device includes a spindle to detachably hold a disk of a hard disk drive. A spindle motor rotates the spindle. A recording unit records data on a surface of the disk while moving over the surface of the disk held on the spindle. A disk protecting unit covers the surfaces of the disk to protect the disk from an external environment when the disk is rotated. In the disc recording device, the disk protecting unit approaches or moves away from the disk through a reciprocating motion within a predetermined range.

A method of reducing execution time for a position command in a position servo system is described in which a position command is transmitted from a main controller to the position servo at a first predetermined time interval and the position servo interpolates and executes a first part of the transmitted position command at a second predetermined time interval which is less than the first predetermined time interval. Execution of the position command is paused for a predetermined period of time during which a non-executed part of the position command is calculated and stored into the position servo buffer. After the predetermined pause time, the non-executed part of the position command is executed.

Method of reducing execution time for position command in position servo

A method is provided of an industrial controller, such as that used for controlling a robot or a computerized numeric controller, of returning to an absolute zero point. A main controller moves an axis toward a center sensor on the basis of a position signal of the axis received from right and left limit sensors and the center sensor, to determine an approximate position of the absolute zero point. A position controller then controls a motor by a position control command having an interpolated short time period and detects a zero-pulse generated from the motor, thereby determining the absolute zero point. Thus, the absolute zero point is always positioned in a predetermined place, and since the speed of detecting the zero-pulse can be determined by the position controller regardless of the main controller, the time for returning to the absolute zero point is reduced.
