A display device and a method for manufacturing the same. A display device includes: a first substrate; a partition wall which is disposed on the first substrate to define a first space and includes a top portion and side portions extending from the top portion; a reflective layer which covers the top portion and the side portions; an organic layer which is disposed on the reflective layer to overlap the top portion and has liquid repellency; and a wavelength conversion layer which is disposed in the first space.

Display device and method of manufacturing the same

A display device and a method of manufacturing a display device, the display device having a plurality of pixels defined therein and including: a first substrate; a partition wall disposed on the first substrate to define openings corresponding to the plurality of pixels; and color conversion patterns disposed in the openings. The partition wall includes a light-transmitting structure having a groove and a first partition wall portion disposed in the groove and having a higher optical density than the light-transmitting structure.

A color conversion panel for a display device includes: a substrate including a first region, a second region, and a third region; a light-blocking partition disposed on the substrate and having a plurality of openings via which the first region, the second region and the third region are exposed; color conversion patterns disposed on the substrate in the openings in the first region and in the second region, respectively; and a light-transmitting layer containing scattering particles and including a first portion disposed in the opening in the third region and a second portion disposed to cover the color conversion patterns on the substrate. The scattering particles increase the efficiency of color conversion, such that color gamut may be increased.

Color conversion panel and display device including the same

The present invention provides a quantum dot panel, including: a first substrate; a plurality of first cavities formed on the first substrate, so that adjacent ones of the cavities are separated from each other; a first roof layer covering the cavities so as to at least partially define the cavities; quantum dots contained in the first cavities; and a distribution layer in which the quantum dots are distributed and which is disposed within the first cavities. The quantum dot panel according to exemplary embodiments of the present invention includes quantum dots contained within predetermined structures formed on the substrate, thereby improving reliability of the quantum dot panel and simplifying the manufacturing process thereof.

Quantum dot panel and display device including the same

Provided is a display device including a display unit and a mirror unit adjacent to each other, in which the display unit includes a first substrate, a thin film transistor formed on the substrate, a pixel electrode connected to the thin film transistor, a roof layer formed on the pixel electrode to be spaced apart from the pixel electrode with a microcavity therebetween, and a liquid crystal layer filling the microcavity, and the mirror unit includes a second substrate, a first electrode formed on the second substrate, a second electrode formed on the first substrate to be spaced apart from the first electrode with a microcavity therebetween, and an electrochromic layer formed in the microcavity.

Provided is a liquid crystal display, including: an insulating substrate, the insulating substrate includes a center region and an edge region surrounding the center region; a roof layer formed on the insulating substrate, and configured to support a plurality of separated microcavities; a pixel electrode formed on the insulating substrate, and formed in the microcavity supported by the roof layer; and a liquid crystal layer positioned within the microcavity, in which the roof layer includes an opening for injecting a liquid crystal into the plurality of microcavities, and the opening in the center region has a substantially uniform size, and the opening in the edge region is smaller than the opening in the center region.
