The present disclosure provides a control apparatus for sensing overcurrent of a DC motor of a vehicle. The control apparatus may include: a microcomputer configured to convert a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal into a digital signal for controlling the DC motor; a half-bridge driver configured to control switching of the DC motor; a regulator configured to supply power; and a noise removal filter. The microcomputer is configured to measure a voltage at an input of the half-bridge driver, compare a difference between on-voltage and off-voltage during each of PWM period with a predetermined threshold, and stop the DC motor when the difference exceeds the predetermined threshold a predetermined number of times.

Control apparatus and method for sensing overcurrent of DC motor of vehicle

A power switch capable of preventing a reverse connection is provided. The power switch includes a switch that is configured to supply power of a battery to a load or block the power of the battery and a protector that is connected to an output terminal of the switch and blocks the power applied from the battery when the battery is reversely connected and a driver is configured to operate a driving of the switch and the protector.

A transceiver integrated circuit (IC) device for a multi-channel, and a method of operating the same are provided. The transceiver IC device transmits and receives information and data between a central gateway (CGW) and a plurality of electronic control units (ECUs) using a controller area network (CAN). The transceiver IC device includes a plurality of CAN transceivers and a monitoring sensor that detects whether a transceiver IC device operates normally. A wake-up detector detects a wake-up signal transmitted via a network and a controller transmits and receives a CAN signal to and from the plurality of CAN transceivers. In addition, a serial peripheral interface (SPI) communication portion transmits and receives information and data from the controller to and from a microcomputer of the CGW.

Transceiver integrated circuit device and method of operation thereof

Disclosed herein is a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) controller. The PWM controller includes a plurality of Field Effect Transistors (FETs) and an FET driver. A comparator compares a current flowing through the FETs with an overcurrent reference value, and microcomputer controls a motor and a circuit protection function, and turns off the FET driver when the current flowing through the FETs is greater than the overcurrent reference value as a result of comparison by the comparator.

Disclosed is an apparatus and method for controlling switching devices for a DC motor, which controls the dead-time in an on-chip manner, even when a microcontroller is not mounted in a vehicle controller, by providing a semiconductor chip for controlling switching devices for a DC motor. More specifically, switching devices are mounted in a semiconductor chip to configure an internal circuit of the chip with a half-bridge and a dead-time controller is provided on the semiconductor chip and is configured to transmit gating signals by controlling dead-time periods during operation of the switching devices and drive the switching devices directly connected to a motor.
