A transparent touch display apparatus includes a light-emitting device on an emission area of a device substrate and a touch electrode on a transmission area of the device substrate. The light-emitting device includes a first electrode, a light-emitting layer and a second electrode. The touch electrode includes the same material as the second electrode. An encapsulating element is disposed on the light-emitting device and the touch electrode. An over-coat layer is disposed between the device substrate and the light-emitting device, and between the device substrate and the touch electrode. A first link wire electrically connected to the second electrode of the light-emitting device and a second link wire electrically connected to the touch electrode are disposed between the device substrate and the over-coat layer.

Transparent touch display apparatus

A touch sensing system may include, for example, pixels for displaying an input image, data lines, touch electrodes, a timing controller for dividing one frame into a display driving period for displaying the input image and a touch driving period for driving the touch electrodes, a stylus pen for receiving a pen uplink signal during the touch driving period and outputting a pen downlink signal, and a touch sensing circuit for causing the pen uplink signal to be radiated to the stylus pen from the data lines during the touch driving period and for sensing voltages of the touch electrodes based on the pen downlink signal. In another example, a touch sensing system may supply the pen uplink signal, which is to be radiated to the stylus pen, using touch electrodes and reference voltage lines during the touch driving period. Methods of driving a touch sensing system are also disclosed.

Touch sensing system and driving method thereof

A touch display apparatus senses a touch of a user and/or a tool. In the touch display apparatus, an upper electrode of each light-emitting device may include a first electrode region overlapping with an emission area and a second electrode region being spaced away from the first electrode region. The second electrode region may be connected to a link wire different from the first electrode region. Thus, in the touch display apparatus, at least one of the first electrode region and the second electrode region of each upper electrode may be used for sensing the touch of the user and/or the tool. Therefore, in the touch display apparatus, a process of forming components for sensing the touch may be simplified.

Touch display apparatus

A touch display apparatus for sensing a touch of a user and/or a tool is provided. The touch display apparatus includes upper electrodes on emission areas. The upper electrodes may be separated by a separating partition on a separating area and a second opening of a bank insulating layer. Each of the upper electrodes may be connected to one of link wires, which are disposed between a device substrate and the bank insulating layer. Thus, in the touch display apparatus, a process for sensing the touch of the user and/or the tool may be simplified, and a process efficiency may be improved.

A touch display apparatus senses a touch of a user, a tool or both. In the touch display apparatus, an upper electrode of a light-emitting device includes a first electrode portion overlapping an emission area, and a second electrode region spaced away from the first electrode region. A touch wire is disposed on an encapsulating element covering the light-emitting device. The touch wire includes a portion overlapping the second electrode region. Thus, in the touch display apparatus, a process of forming components for sensing the touch may be simplified.

A touch display device and a method for driving the same is disclosed. The present disclosure provides a touch display device including a display panel including sub-pixels, a touch sensor including a touch electrode formed electrically in common with an electrode of a light-emitting diode included in the sub-pixels, and a touch driver configured to sense the touch sensor, wherein the electrode of the light-emitting diode serves as the touch electrode for a turn-off period of an emission control transistor for controlling emission of the light-emitting diode.

Multi touch flat display module

A touch panel display device includes a liquid crystal panel to display an image by regulating transmittance of light supplied from a back light unit, and a touch sensing part provided on upper edges of the liquid crystal panel in order to detect a position touched by a user or an object. The touch sensing part includes infrared lamps to generate and emit infrared light, infrared light reflecting tubes mounted with the infrared lamps, and image sensors to sense the infrared light output from the light output regions of the infrared light reflecting tubes. A touch-sensing display screen includes an upper transparent substrate, a lower substrate opposite the upper substrate, and a backlight unit having an infrared light source configured to radiate infrared light through the upper substrate in a first direction. A display device capable of simplifying the structure and improving the reliability is disclosed. The display device includes an LCD module having a top case formed of metal, a glass substrate arranged on the LCD module, an infrared ray emitting module arranged to face three side surfaces of the LCD module and having a first magnet for first fixing to the top case, and a pair of infrared ray detection units arranged at corner ends of a side surface of the LCD module where the infrared ray emitting module is not arranged and having a second magnet for the first fixing to the top case.
