A backlight assembly and a display device including the backlight assembly include a light source which emits light, a light guide plate disposed adjacent to the light source and which receives the light emitted from the light source, a light source supporter including a bottom plane including a first region and a second region, and a first receiving unit including a bottom surface and a side wall. The light source and the light guide plate are disposed on the first region of the bottom plane, the second region extends from a portion of the first region on which the light source is disposed, the bottom surface is disposed opposite the light guide plate, and the side wall is disposed at an end portion of the bottom surface along a direction perpendicular to a plane defined by the bottom surface.

Backlight assembly and display device including the same

A display apparatus includes a display panel, a first covering part, an upper frame and a lower frame. The first covering part is disposed on the display panel. The upper frame is disposed under the first covering part and includes a first combining portion. The lower frame is combined with the upper frame through the first combining portion, and overlaps a peripheral portion of the display panel.

A liquid crystal display ('LCD') module includes a backlight assembly emitting light, a LCD panel overlapping the backlight assembly, and an upper cover. The backlight includes a light source module emitting the light, a light guide plate ('LGP') including edges and a middle portion, and a LGP support overlapping the edges of the LGP. The LGP support includes a plurality of LGP supporting pieces connected to each other so as to form a polygonal shape, each of the LGP supporting pieces including a LGP supporting portion including a LGP supporting surface overlapping the edges of the LGP, and the LGP supporting surfaces of each of the LGP supporting pieces of the LGP support are placed on a same plane. Opposing LGP supporting pieces are interconnected by an LCD module mounting member.

A multi-display device includes a plurality of display devices. A display device of the plurality of display devices includes: a display panel including a front side, a rear side, first and second sides which face each other, and third and fourth sides which face each other; a first chassis which is fixed to the first side; a second chassis which is fixed to the second side; a third chassis which is fixed to the third side; a fourth chassis which is fixed to the fourth side; and a fixing member between one or more of the first to fourth chassis, and the display panel. The fixing member fixes the one or more of the first to fourth chassis, to the display panel. The fixing member is provided at a boundary between adjacent display devices of the plurality of display devices.

Multi-display device

Provided are a lamp socket structured to realize a slimmer display device, and a display device having the lamp socket. The lamp socket includes: a body portion; a connection terminal for connection of the lamp socket to a terminal of a lamp; a compliant portion which connects the body portion and the connection terminal and includes a first portion connected to the connection terminal and a second portion connected to the body portion; and one or more fixing portions which extend from the body portion, wherein the first portion and the second portion at least partially overlap each other.

In accordance with one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, a display assembly received in a cover by the front mounting method, a combining recess is formed on a corner formed at which a side part and an upper portion of a supporting part meet together, and a first hole is formed on a bottom of the combining recess. A first opening exposing the first hole is formed in a top surface part of a front receiving frame. A bottom part of a rear receiving frame supporting a rear face of a display module has a second hole corresponding to the first hole. An incision portion opening the sidewall part of the rear receiving frame exposes the second hole, the first reinforcement member is bent around an edge of the sidewall part, and connects the opposite edges. As such, the width of a frame of the cover is reduced, and the rear receiving frame improves the strength against external force.

Display assembly and display device having the same

A display device includes a liquid crystal display panel, a light source unit and a housing accommodating the light source unit. The light source unit includes a light source part and a light source supporting member supporting the light source part. The housing includes an insertion accommodating part provided in a bottom surface of the housing. The light source supporting member includes a planar main body, a light source holder and an insertion part protruding from the main body toward the housing to be coupled to the insertion accommodating part. The insertion part includes an engagement part and a connecting part. The insertion part is inserted in the insertion accommodating part and the light source supporting member is rotated at a predetermined angle.
