The present invention relates to a dryer having a liquid spraying function, and according to one aspect of the present invention, a laundry treating apparatus including a plurality of laundry treating courses which have different laundry treating methods is provided. The apparatus comprises: a drum for receiving the laundry; a hot air supply means for supplying hot air to the inner side of the drum; a spraying means for spraying a fragrant solution to the inside of the drum; a manipulating means including a course selecting means for selecting the laundry treating courses; and a controller for controlling the apparatus according to the instructions inputted by the manipulating means, wherein a plurality of laundry treating courses includes at least one scent spray course for spraying the fragrant solution during the laundry treating process, and the course selecting means comprises a scent spray course selecting means for selecting one of the scent spray courses.

A clothes dryer comprises a body, a top plate disposed on upper part of the body, a drum rotatably installed in the body, a front supporter and a rear supporter configured to support the drum, and a fragrance supplying module mounted at the top plate, and configured to supply fragrance into the drum, wherein a sealing device configured to prevent fragrance from being dispersed to outside is provided at an inlet unit of the fragrance supplying module through which a fragrant liquid is introduced. The sealing device is implemented as a protrusion having a ring shape and formed on an inner surface of the cover which opens and closes a chamber of a fragrance supplying device. By this sealing device, fragrance stored in the chamber may be prevented from being dispersed to outside.

An operating method for a laundry drier which has a rotatable drum mounted inside a main body, a heater for heating the air flowing into the drum; and a scent supply module for spraying scent into the drum, comprising: a drying step of drying the laundry by supplying hot air heated by the heater; a pre-treating step of tumbling the drum while supplying air with the heater off; and a scent treating step of spraying scent onto the laundry which has passed through the pre-treating step. Since the scent is sprayed on after the pre-treating step, the scent can be effectively deposited on the laundry.

A vacuum cleaner is provided which can remove substances from a surface by a rotary force of a brush and a vacuum pressure operated on a suction head on which the brush is rotatably installed. The vacuum cleaner improves a user's convenience by preventing thin and long substances, such as hair or the fur of a pet dog, from being wound around the brush. The vacuum cleaner may include a suction head installed at a front end of a suction path, that sucks substances by a vacuum pressure generated by a suction motor and having a suction hole for sucking the substances, a brush installed in the suction hole and rotated to contact a surface, and a hair tunnel formed on the suction head so as not to interfere with the brush, that preferentially sucks thin and long substances from the surface.

Disclosed is a liquid storage container and a clothes dryer having the same. The liquid storage container comprises: a reservoir installed at the clothes dryer, and configured to store liquid therein; a light transmitting window disposed above the reservoir; and a level indicator configured to be partially or wholly immersed into the liquid stored in the reservoir according to a level of the liquid. According to the amount of the liquid stored in the reservoir, an immersed degree of the level indicator into the liquid may become different. A drum for a clothes dryer in which an internal structure, especially, a baffle structure, of the drum is improved to prevent target items from being entangled and damaged during a drying operation to thereby improve the drying efficiency of the clothes dryer. Rotatable balls are inserted in the baffles mounted on an internal surface of the drum, the mounting arrangement of the baffles is changed, or the baffles are modified to thus improve the drying operation. In addition, an absorbent is filled in the baffles to thus increase the drying efficiency.
