A coil component includes a wound coil having a winding portion, having at least one turn, and a lead-out portion extending from an end portion of the winding portion to provide a separation space together with the winding portion and a body including an insulating resin and magnetic powder particles and embedding the wound coil therein. The body has a low-density portion disposed in the separation space and having magnetic powder particle density lower than average magnetic powder particle density of an entirety of the body.

A high-voltage relay system for a vehicle is provided. The system includes a relay, a first contact part positioned between a battery and a power converter, a voltage application unit, and a second contact part positioned between the voltage application unit and the ground. A first resistor is connected, at a first end thereof, in series to a second end of the second contact part and connected, at a second end thereof, to the ground. A controller operates the relay in response to an ON/OFF control signal to short-circuit or open the contacts at both ends of the first contact part or the contacts at both ends of the second and determines whether the relay fails based on the type of the ON/OFF control signal and the voltage value between both ends of the first resistor.

An outdoor unit for an air conditioner allows condensed water generated from an outdoor heat exchanger to be easily discharged, and prevents coldness from the outdoor heat exchanger from being transmitted to a bottom of the outdoor unit, thus preventing freezing of the condensed water on the bottom. The outdoor unit includes a cabinet having a bottom panel, an outdoor heat exchanger installed in the cabinet, and a support member made of heat insulating material supporting the outdoor heat exchanger with a spacing between a lower end of the outdoor heat exchanger and the bottom panel of the cabinet, to prevent condensed water generated from the outdoor heat exchanger from freezing.
