A catalyst for removing dioxin and a preparation method thereof. The catalyst is prepared by recycling a spent catalyst discharged from a hydro-desulfurization process of an oil refinery in which the spent catalyst comprises an alumina support (preferably, gamma alumina) with a large specific surface area impregnated with high contents of vanadium. The spent catalyst is mixed with a tungsten-impregnated titania, whereby a catalyst comprising suitable metal components and a mixture support of alumina and titania may be prepared. The catalyst in accordance with the present invention has excellent dioxin removal performance and low preparation cost because of recycling the spent catalyst.

Disclosed are a catalyst for selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides and a method for preparing the same. Useful for the removal of nitrogen oxides is a catalyst prepared using spent catalysts having been absorbed with vanadium, nickel and sulfur in the hydro-desulfurization line of an oil refinery in which a catalyst for the hydro-desulfurization contains molybdenum, iron, cobalt and silicon on the alumina support in accordance with the present invention. The present catalyst can remove nitrogen oxides at a level of 90% or higher, exhibiting a 10% or more increase in efficiency of the catalyst performance. Additionally, the catalyst can increase the efficiency of spent catalyst reclamation by 250%.

The catalyst is prepared by recycling a spent catalyst discharged from a hydro-desulfurization process of an oil refinery in which the spent catalyst comprises an alumina support with a large specific surface area impregnated with low contents of vanadium and high contents of molybdenum. The thus prepared catalyst has more excellent selective removal activity of nitrogen oxides at a high temperature window by containing suitable amounts of metal components therein as well as a better poisoning resistance to sulfur oxides, compared with the conventional catalysts.

Method for preparing a catalyst for reduction of nitrogen oxides

Disclosed herein is a variable lamination manufacturing process and apparatus. The method comprises the step of coating strip-shaped material with an adhesive while the strip-shaped material is fed. Thereafter, the strip-shaped material being fed is cut into material pieces of a variable width, variable inclinations and a variable length in accordance with the three-dimensional computer aided design data of a three-dimensional product using a linear heat source. The cut material pieces are stacked on a moving table to be positioned in the corresponding positions of the three-dimensional product. Finally, the stacked cut material pieces are pushed to bond one piece to anther.

Method for preparing a catalyst for selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides

A sintered material based on silicon nitride for use in preparing cutting tools is provided. This material is prepared by sintering a mixture of silicon nitride containing 2-10 percent by weight of yttrium oxide, 1-5 percent by weight of aluminium oxide and 10-40 percent by weight of titanium carbide coated with titanium nitride under hot pressing or sintering followed by hot isostatic pressing at an elevated temperature ranging from 1600.degree. C. to 1800.degree. C. The coated titanium carbide in the form of powder can be formed by depositing a film of titanium nitride on the surface of titanium carbide in the presence of gaseous titanium tetrachloride, hydrogen and nitrogen under the partial pressure of 0.1 to 0.5 atmosphere at 1000.degree. C. to 1500.degree. C. The material can endow the cutting tools with higher toughness and strength and longer life.
