An electroluminescent display device includes first and second substrates on which a pixel including first, second, and third sub-pixels are defined, a light-emitting diode disposed at each of the first, second, and third sub-pixels on the first substrate and including a first electrode, a light-emitting layer and a second electrode, and a bank between adjacent sub-pixels along a first direction, wherein the light-emitting layer includes first, second, and third light-emitting layers, wherein each of the first and second light-emitting layers includes first and second light-emitting material layers, and the third light-emitting layer includes a second light-emitting material layer, and wherein a height of the first light-emitting material layer of each of the first and second light-emitting layer increases as it approaches the bank, and the second light-emitting material layers of the first, second, and third light-emitting layers are disposed on top and side surfaces of the bank.

Electroluminescent display device

An electroluminescent display device includes: a substrate, a first electrode on the substrate, a connection pattern on the substrate, the connection pattern including a same material as the first electrode, a bank covering edges of the first electrode and the connection pattern, a light-emitting layer on the first electrode, a second electrode on the light-emitting layer, the bank, and the connection pattern, and an auxiliary pattern between the connection pattern and the second electrode, the auxiliary pattern including one or more of: a metal oxide, conductive nanoparticles, and a work function-modifying polymer.

A transparent display device includes a substrate on which a pixel including first, second, and third emission areas and first and second transparent areas arranged along a first direction is defined, a light-emitting diode disposed in each of the first, second, and third emission areas and including a first electrode, a light-emitting layer, and a second electrode, and an auxiliary electrode extending in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction and electrically connected to the second electrode. The first emission area and the auxiliary electrode are disposed between the first transparent area and the second transparent area, and the second transparent area includes a first portion between the first emission area and the second emission area. Further, the first transparent area has a higher transmittance than the second transparent area.

An electroluminescent display device includes a substrate including a first pixel column and a second pixel column that respectively include first pixels and second pixels arranged in a first direction and respectively have a first width and a second width in a second direction, wherein the second pixel column is positioned in the second direction from the first pixel column, and the second width is greater than the first width; a light emitting diode in each first pixel and each second pixel and including a first electrode, a light emitting layer and a second electrode; a first bank positioned between adjacent first pixels and between adjacent second pixels and covering an edge of the first electrode; a second bank positioned between the first and second pixel columns; and a first partition wall across the second pixel column along the first direction and positioned on the first electrode.

An organic light emitting display device according to an example comprises a substrate; a plurality of first bank layers disposed on the substrate in a first direction and a second direction different from the first direction to define a plurality of pixels; a plurality of second bank layers disposed on the first bank layers in the first direction to partition pixel columns of different colors; and a third bank layer formed in each of the pixel columns in the second direction to divide each of the pixel columns into a plurality of groups each including a plurality of the pixels.

Organic light-emitting display device having first, second and third bank layers and method of fabricating the same

An organic light emitting display device and a method of fabricating thereof are discussed. The organic light emitting display device according to an example includes a plurality of first bank layers arranged along a first direction and a second direction on a substrate to define a plurality of pixels; a plurality of second bank layers disposed along the first direction on the first bank layers to divide the columns of pixels having different colors; an organic light emitting layer in each pixel; at least one first pocket pixel unit at both sides of the pixel having the smallest area; and a first dummy organic light emitting layer in the first pocket pixel unit.

Organic light emitting display device and method of fabricating thereof

An electroluminescent display device comprises a substrate; a plurality of sub-pixels arranged on the substrate, including sub-pixels with different colors arranged along a first direction and sub-pixels with a same color arranged along a second direction; a light-emitting diode disposed at each sub-pixel and including a first electrode, a light-emitting layer and a second electrode; a bank having an opening corresponding to a sub-pixel row along the second direction and disposed between two adjacent sub-pixels along the first direction; and a control pattern between two adjacent sub-pixels along the second direction, wherein the control pattern includes a first control pattern corresponding to a center portion of the sub-pixel row and a second control pattern spaced apart from the first control pattern along the second direction, and where a first end of each of the first and second control patterns is spaced apart from the bank and has an first surface parallel to or inclined with respect to the second direction, and a slope of the first surface of the second control pattern is larger than a slope of the first surface of the first control pattern.

An organic light-emitting display device and a method of fabricating the same are provided. The organic light emitting display device according to an example comprises a substrate including a pixel region including a plurality of red-subpixels, a plurality of green-subpixels, and a plurality of blue-subpixels, and a dummy pixel region including a plurality of dummy subpixels; a plurality of first bank layers disposed in the pixel region in a first direction and a second direction to define a plurality of subpixels; a plurality of second bank layers disposed on the first bank layers in the first direction in the pixel region to partition boundaries between a red-subpixel column, a green-subpixel column, and a blue-subpixel column; and an organic light-emitting element formed on each of the subpixels; and wherein at least one dummy subpixel forms a first dispensing region onto which an organic light-emitting material is dispensed.

Organic light-emitting display device and method of fabricating the same

An electroluminescent display device and method of fabricating the same are discussed. The electroluminescent display device includes a substrate including first to third pixel regions, the second and third pixel regions being adjacent to the first pixel region along a first direction and a second direction, respectively; an insulating layer over the substrate and including a groove between the first and second pixel regions; a first electrode on the insulating layer and in each of the first to third pixel regions; a bank covering an edge of the first electrode and disposed between the first pixel region and the second pixel region and between the first pixel region and the third pixel region; an emitting layer on the first electrode; and a second electrode on the emitting layer, wherein the bank disposed between the first and second pixel regions has a first height from the first electrode and the bank disposed between the first and third pixel regions has a second height from the first electrode, and the first height is smaller than the second height.

Electroluminescent display device and method of fabricating the same

An electroluminescent display device includes a substrate on which first and second pixel regions are defined, a passivation layer over the substrate, a first electrode in each of the first and second pixel regions on the passivation layer, a bank layer exposing the first electrode, a light emitting layer on the first electrode exposed by the bank layer, and a second electrode on the light emitting layer, further the bank layer includes first and second openings exposing the first electrodes corresponding to the first and second pixel regions, respectively, and also a depth of the second opening is larger than a depth of the first opening, and a height of the bank layer of the second pixel region is larger than a height of the bank layer of the first pixel region.

An electroluminescent display device includes a substrate on which first and second pixel regions are defined, a passivation layer over the substrate, a first electrode in each of the first and second pixel regions on the passivation layer, a bank layer exposing the first electrode, a light emitting layer on the first electrode exposed by the bank layer, and a second electrode on the light emitting layer, wherein the bank layer includes first and second openings exposing the first electrodes corresponding to the first and second pixel regions, respectively, and a depth of the second opening is larger than a depth of the first opening.
