The present disclosure relates to an organic light emitting device. In particular, the present disclosure relates to an organic light emitting diode and an organic light emitting device each of which includes at least one emitting material layer comprising an anthracene-based host substituted with at least one deuterium and a boron-based dopant, at least one electron blocking layer comprising an aryl-substituted amine-based compound, and optionally at least one hole blocking layer comprising at least one of an azine-based compound and a benzimidazole-based compound. The organic light emitting diode and the organic light emitting device has improved luminous efficiency and enhanced luminous lifespan.

An organic light emitting diode and an organic light emitting device containing the same are provided. The organic light emitting diode includes at least two emitting parts each of which includes independently an emitting material layer. Each of the emitting material layers includes independently an anthracene-based host having different deuterium substitution rates. The organic light emitting device includes the organic light emitting diode. Hosts with different deuterium substitution rates are introduced into each organic emitting material layer to improve luminous efficiency and luminous lifespan of the organic light emitting diode and the organic light emitting device.

An organic compound having a tetraphenyl moiety and at least one fused hetero aryl moiety having at least one oxygen and/or sulfur on a ring and bonded to the tetraphenyl moiety directly or indirectly, and a light emitting diode and a light emitting device having the organic compound are disclosed. The organic compound has excellent thermal resistance property and hole mobility property. The organic compound can be incorporated into a hole transfer layer, an electron blocking layer and/or a charge generation layer of the light emitting diode. Therefore, the light emitting diode and light emitting device according to the present invention have decreased driving voltage and enhanced luminous efficiency.
