A scroll compressor () comprising a thrust bearing () including a first sliding surface () and a second sliding surface () in opposed relation to the first sliding surface () is disclosed. The first sliding surface () is formed with a plurality of insular pressure-receiving portions () surrounded by grooves () and independent of each other. The part of the second sliding surface () in opposed relation to the pressure-receiving portions () is flat as compared with the first sliding surface (). The outermost front surface of the second sliding surface () is formed with a diamond-like carbon layer ().

A scroll compressor is disclosed. A plurality of grooves () communicating with each other are formed on a sliding surface of a thrust bearing () subjected to the axial force received by a movable scroll (). The areas surrounded by the plurality of the grooves () make up a plurality of insular pressure receiving portions () independent of each other. The pressure receiving portions () represent at least one half of the area of the sliding surface.

A moving core includes a magnetic body having a rough face-shaped wall portion at a side facing a stationary core, a plated layer portion provided on the magnetic body and including a micro concave and convex portion on the surface layer of the plated layer portion, and a lubricating layer portion provided so as to cover the plated layer portion to store lubricating particles in the concave portions of the plated layer portion. A clearance between adjacent convex portions of the micro concave and convex portion is smaller than a clearance between adjacent convex portions of concavity and convexity of the plated layer portion. The lubricating particle is larger than the clearance between the adjacent convex portions of the micro concave and convex portion and smaller than the clearance between adjacent convex portions of the plated layer portion.

Electromagnetic drive device

An electromagnetic valve device reduces wear of a moving member and a non-magnetic member sliding against the moving member and prevents contamination from contacting the sliding part. The moving member is directly and movably supported in a reciprocating manner by a non-magnetic cup. The moving member has a hard layer made of nickel containing PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) particles at the sliding part located against the cup. The hardness of the hard layer is high and is approximately the hardness of the stainless steel cup. Therefore, the wear of both the moving member and the cup can be reduced. The hard layer contains the PTFE particles, and therefore the sliding part between the moving member and the cup is lubricated by the PTFE, which reduces the sliding resistance at the sliding part and improves the responsiveness of the device.

Electromagnetic valve device and manufacturing method thereof

A base material of a peripheral wall and a vane rotor is formed by extrusion molding an aluminum alloy and cutting an extrusion molded article to the desired length. Further, the extrusion molded article can be molded with high accuracy by extracting the aluminum alloy after extrusion. Preferably, 6000 system of Al&mdash;Mg&mdash;Si is used as an aluminum alloy. The cutting process and polishing process are applied to the roughly molded base material to form the peripheral wall and the vane rotor. By varying the length to be cut, the volume of each retard hydraulic chamber and each advance hydraulic chamber are adjusted. When the volume of the hydraulic chambers are adjusted, the torque for relatively rotating and driving the vane rotor with respect to the housing member can be changed even pressure of working oil is the same.
