A medical object for arrangement in an object under examination includes an optical fiber. The optical fiber is configured to contact at least one light source optically. The medical object further includes multiple photoacoustic absorbers that are arranged in sections along a direction of longitudinal extension of the optical fiber and/or along a periphery of the medical object. The multiple photoacoustic absorbers are configured to be arranged at least in part in the object under examination. The optical fiber is configured to conduct an excitation light emitted by the at least one light source to the multiple photoacoustic absorbers. The multiple photoacoustic absorbers are configured to be excited by the excitation light for the photoacoustic emission of ultrasound.

Medical object for arrangement in an object under examination and system for sensing a medical object

A detector for electromagnetic radiation is disclosed. The detector includes: a first electrode layer including at least one first electrode pixel and a second electrode pixel. A second electrode and a first layer including at least one first perovskite are situated between the at least one first electrode pixel of the first electrode layer and the second electrode. Further, a second layer including at least one second different perovskite, is situated between the second electrode pixel of the first electrode layer and the second electrode. In another embodiment, a detector for electromagnetic radiation is disclosed where a first layer including at least one first perovskite, is situated between the at least one first electrode pixel of the first electrode layer and the second electrode, and between the second electrode pixel of the first electrode layer and the second electrode. A method for the production is also disclosed.

Multiple spectral detectors using structured perovskite

A detector is for electromagnetic radiation. In an embodiment, the detector includes a first, pixelated electrode layer, a second electrode, and a first layer including at least one first perovskite, located between the first, pixelated electrode layer and the second electrode. An embodiment further relates to a method for manufacturing a corresponding detector.

Perovskite-based detectors with increased adhesion

A flexible, thin, elongated band is used as a substrate. Similarly to a magnetic tape, the band is unwound from a feed reel and is transported past an outlet opening of a receptacle containing the cells such that the cells are poured onto the band. Subsequently, the band containing the cells applied thereon is wound onto a take-up reel. The take-up reel is fixed on a drive shaft which can be rotated by a drive mechanism. The rotation thus achieved has the effect that the band is unwound, transported past the outlet opening and finally wound up. In addition, spacers are provided at the upper surface of the band in order to prevent the contacting of radially adjacent sections of the band containing the cells in a wound-up state.

The present disclosure relates to coated particles. For example, some embodiments include particles comprising: perovskite crystals of the type ABXor ABX; wherein A comprises at least one monovalent, divalent, or trivalent element from the fourth or a higher period in the periodic table or mixtures thereof; B comprises a monovalent cation, the volumetric parameter of which is sufficient, with the respective element A, for perovskite lattice formation; and X is selected from the group consisting of halides and pseudohalides, and mixtures thereof; and a coating of at least one semiconductor material surrounding a nucleus comprising the perovskite crystals.

The present disclosure relates to a detection layer on a substrate. For example, a detection layer may include perovskite crystals of the type ABXand/or ABX. A may include at least one monovalent, divalent or trivalent element from the fourth or a higher period in the periodic table and/or mixtures thereof. The invention relates to a device and a method for fluidic cell guidance for flow cytometry or analyte enrichment. This allows magnetically marked analytes, in particular cells (), to be dynamically enriched and individually detected in the flow from a sample, in particular magnetoresistively. For cell guidance, guiding ridges () are arranged in a flow channel (), and so, in addition to a magnetic enrichment force () and the shearing force of the flow (), a deflecting force () caused by the fluidic obstacles () also acts on the cells () to be detected.

The disclosure relates to flow cytometry. A method for precise individual cell detection and cell measurement of cells in the flow is disclosed. A pair of magnetoresistive components are used to produce a characteristic measuring signal profile from which the following information can be obtained: number of measurement deviations, measurement deviation distances, measurement deviation amplitudes, measurement deviation direction and measurement deviation direction sequence. The flow speed and the cell diameter can also be determined. Also, the signal noise ratio can be determined using the measurement deviation amplitude.

A method and an apparatus for filtering radio-frequency electromagnetic beams, in particular x-rays, include a fluid container containing a ferrofluid which at least partially absorbs the electromagnetic beams.
