A hydraulic machine includes: a casing; a differential piston having an upper ring and a lower base, sliding reciprocally in the casing and a cylindrical housing inside the envelope, separating two chambers of the casing; a hydraulic switch conveying liquid to/from the chambers, the switch controlled by movement of the piston and including at least one rod acting on a distribution member that includes an upper valve cooperating with a first seat in the upper ring of the piston and at least one lower valve cooperating with a second seat in the lower base of the piston; and a trigger causing, at the end of the stroke, a sudden change in the position of the switch to reverse the stroke. The lower and upper valve seats accept upper and lower frustoconical portions and a lower frustoconical portion tapering in opposite directions. Also disclosed is a reversible metering pump.

Metering device for introducing a liquid additive into a main liquid flowing along a pipe, includes a pump for withdrawing additive from a container and metering it, this pump including a first inlet for receiving a flow of main liquid which drives the pump, a second inlet for picking up additive and an outlet for the resulting mixture; a Venturi installed in the pipe, and connected in parallel with the pump, the first pump inlet connected by a first line to the Venturi inlet while the outlet connected by a second line to the Venturi throat; a first element for varying the restriction at the Venturi neck, and a second element sensitive to the pressure drop across the pump for controlling the first element to reduce the bore section when the pressure drop across the pump increases, and increase the bore section when the pressure drop across the pump decreases.

A static mixer (M) for homogenizing a mixture of at least two liquids, especially after injection of an auxiliary liquid (L) into a main liquid (L), includes: a closed container (), with an inflow conduit () extending from a first wall of the container, up to the vicinity of the opposite wall, and an outflow conduit () which is substantially parallel to the inflow conduit, each conduit being provided with a device () for connecting to the outside, through the wall of the container.
