Method for generating an application map () for treating a field with an agricultural equipment comprising the following steps: providing (S) a field map () of a field to be treated; determining (S) areas in the field map () with a weed and/or pest infestation by using an image classification algorithm; and generating (S) an application map () specifying areas for treating the field with an agricultural equipment, wherein the application map () is based on the determined areas infested by weed and/or pest infestation; wherein the method further comprises the step of providing boundary data with respect to the field.

Method for generating an application map for treating a field with an agricultural equipment

The present invention relates to an apparatus for determining agricultural relevant information in an agricultural environment. It is described to provide a processing unit with at least one image of an agricultural area. The at least one image corresponds with at least one area of the agricultural area. The at least one image comprises remotely acquired reflectance intensity data relating to a plurality of features on the ground. An image of the at least one image is of a first area of the agricultural environment. The processing unit is provided with at least one sensor data relating to the first area of the agricultural environment. The processing unit implements a radiation propagation model of the atmosphere that utilizes at least one model parameter. The processing unit determines modified at least one model parameter. The processing unit determines at least one agricultural relevant information for an examination area of the at least one area.
