A die and a method for producing a structural part from hardenable material by way of a die. The die includes a die bottom part; a die top part; a die control unit; a flexible element extending along a lower edge of the die top part; and at least one adjusting bolt to adjust at least partially, via the die control unit, a spatial distance between the flexible element and the die bottom part during extrusion.

Method and tool for producing a pressure container and pressure container

An arrangement involving a screw connection for connecting two pipes. The arrangement has particular application for connecting a fuel filler pipe to a pipe that is connected to a fuel tank of a motor vehicle. At least one O-ring seal with excellent permeation resistance is clamped in between a resilient ring-shaped collar of a first pipe and an inner cone of a second pipe using a screw connection.

Arrangement for connecting two pipes

A filler neck for the fuel tank of a motor vehicle with a shutter which is mounted inside the filler neck and which can be actuated by the pump nozzle into an open position for filling the fuel tank and into a closed position via an actuating mechanism. The actuating mechanism of the shutter cooperates with a damping device during the closing movement in such a way that the shutter can be closed with a time delay.

Filler neck

A fluid tank assembly comprises a first tank half having an upper edge flange with an expanded section or ledge extending outwards. A second mating tank half similarly has a lower edge flange and extending ledge. Both ledges have apertures, with lower ledge aperture having a smaller diameter than the upper ledge aperture. The second aperture has a raised edge or lip, so that an annular groove is formed between the lip and the inner edge of the upper aperture when the surfaces of the mating flanges and ledges are in contact and the apertures are coaxial. The two flange and ledge surfaces are normally welded or otherwise secured together. A binding material is added to the annular groove to substantially fill its volume so that a sealing connection is created. This sealing connection near the bolt aperture overcomes the sealing problem that is normally present in this region, and therefore extends the service life of the tank.

Closure cap for the acoustical indication of a predetermined torque being exceeded during securing, having a closure part which can be secured in a sealing manner on the opening; a gripping part for applying the torque; a rotational connection between the closure part and gripping part, which connection permits relative rotation between said two parts; springs which act between the closure part and gripping part in the direction of the relative rotation and subject the extent of the relative rotation to the torque applied; and at least one arrangement comprising a resilient tongue and a snap-in bead, one part of the arrangement being arranged the gripping part and the other part being arranged on the closure part, and at one point during the relative rotation the tongue, by being temporarily deflected, passing the snap-in bead.
