A system described herein may provide a technique for the dynamic selection of edge computing devices, such as Multi-Access/Mobile Edge Computing devices ('MECs'), to provide services to User Equipment ('UEs') based on factors such as MEC load, services and/or applications available or supported by particular MECs, UE location, service requirements, and/or other factors. One or more devices that are external to a network with which MECs are provided may be able to request services from a suitable MEC and/or identify a suitable MEC to provide such services. In this manner, control over the selection of particular MECs may be provided to devices or systems that are external to the network, thus providing an enhanced level of granular control and dynamism to such external devices or systems with respect to MEC selection.

Systems and methods for demand-based dynamic service provisioning in an edge computing system

An example device may include one or more memories and/or one or more processors, communicatively coupled to the one or more memories, to determine that a vehicle is to park in a parking lot; receive information relating to one or more parking spots of the parking lot where the information may be received from a monitoring device of the parking lot; determine a state of the one or more parking spots of the parking lot based on the information from the monitoring device of the parking lot; calculate a probability of availability for the one or more parking spots based on weighted parameters corresponding to one or more characteristics of the one or more parking spots, where the weighted parameters may be weighted based on a characteristic associated with the vehicle; select a parking destination from the one or more parking spots based on the probability of availability of the one or more parking spots; and/or perform an action associated with the selected parking destination.

Smart parking system

Systems and methods for generating a fingerprint including multiple tracking identifiers. Control circuitry receives a first tracking identifier from a first component of a network. The first tracking identifier is associated with a data request sent to the first component. The control circuitry identifies parameters based on a configuration of the first component. The control circuitry transmits an application programming interface (API) request for information related to the parameters from the first component. The control circuitry receives information related to the parameters for the first component in response to the API request. The control circuitry determines a second tracking identifier based on the first tracking identifier and the information related to the parameters for the first component. The control circuitry transmits the second tracking identifier to the first component. The first tracking identifier and the second tracking identifier are combined to generate a fingerprint in connection with the data request.
