A method including receiving driver tracking information from a platform of a delivery driver network of multiple delivery driver networks. The method further can include determining a platform-dependent format of the driver tracking information; and when the platform-dependent format is different from a standard format, converting the driver tracking information from the platform-dependent format into uniform tracking information in the standard forma. Moreover, the method can include determining an estimated time of arrival; and verifying a reliability of an estimated delivery time of the driver tracking information. The method further can include when the reliability of the estimated delivery time is verified, incorporating the estimated delivery time into the uniform tracking information; and when the reliability of the estimated delivery time is not verified, incorporating the estimated time of arrival into the uniform tracking information as the estimated delivery time. The method further can include providing the uniform tracking information to be rendered on a user interface of a user device. Other embodiments are disclosed.

System and method for providing uniform tracking information with a reliable estimated time of arrival

A method including determining a zip code of a user using a website that displays items for sale. Determining the zip code of the user can include determining the zip code of the user through at least one of using tracking cookies for the user using the website or geo-sniffing a current session of the user using the website. The method also can include receiving a selection by the user to display information about an item of the items for sale. The method additionally can include determining a shipping speed to display to the user for the item based on (a) a geo-classification for the item, (b) a list of fulfillment nodes that can currently deliver to the zip code of the user within a first shipping speed, and (c) a node-level inventory for the item. The method further can include facilitating a display of the shipping speed to the user. The geo-classification for the item is a first classification at least when a sale margin for the item exceeds a first predetermined margin threshold. The geo-classification for the item is a second classification at least when a size of the item exceeds a predetermined size threshold. Other embodiments are described.

Automatic determination of a shipping speed to display for an item

A system can comprise one or more processors; and one or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing computing instructions configured to run on the one more processors and perform a method for providing uniform tracking information, in a standard format, based on tracking information provided by multiple delivery driver networks, each having different hardware and software platforms. The method in this embodiment can comprise: receiving a user tracking request from a customer; receiving driver tracking information from the platform of the delivery driver network of the driver selected for the grocery delivery; converting the driver tracking information into uniform tracking information in a standard format; and providing the uniform tracking information, with an accurate estimated delivery time, to be rendered on a user interface of a user device of the customer. The method in this embodiment can be configured to generate the uniform tracking information by: incorporating into the uniform tracking information, as the estimated delivery time, either (a) an estimated time of arrival, determined by the method, based on the driver geographic location, the delivery route, and the real-time traffic information of the geographic area; or (b) the estimated delivery time that is verified to be accurate based on the estimated time of arrival. A method including determining a zip code of a user using a website that displays items. The method also can include receiving a selection by the user to display information about an item of the items. The method additionally can include retrieving first information including a predetermined geo-classification for the item. The method further can include retrieving second information including a list of fulfillment nodes that can currently deliver to the zip code of the user within a first shipping speed via ground shipping. The method additionally can include retrieving third information including a node-level inventory for the item. The method further can include determining a shipping speed to display to the user for the item based on (a) the predetermined geo-classification for the item, (b) the list of fulfillment nodes that can currently deliver to the zip code of the user within the first shipping speed, and (c) the node-level inventory for the item. The method additionally can include facilitating a display of the shipping speed to the user. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Described in detail herein are simulation systems for a production environment and related methods of use. In one exemplary system a routing application receives a request associated with one or more physical objects. Based on the request, the routing application retrieves one or more simulation profiles from a database and forwards the request and the simulation profiles to a first computing system. The first computing system hosts a simulation environment and simultaneously executes a simulation of the request for each simulation profile in the simulation environment. The first computing system generates resultant data in response to executing each simulation that may be used to alter a production application for a production environment.
