Systems and methods for a cab-mounted muffler assembly are provided. In one embodiment, a system includes a support structure configured to couple to an engine cab within an interior of the engine cab; and a muffler assembly configured to mount to the support structure within the interior and spaced apart from an engine by the support structure. The muffler assembly is mounted to the support structure vertically above the engine relative to a ground surface on which the engine cab is supported.

Systems are provided for a thermostat housing positioned in an internal combustion engine system. In one example, the internal combustion engine system may include the thermostat housing and one or more thermostat valves positioned within the thermostat housing, wherein the thermostat housing may include a plurality of plate configurations. In some examples, the plurality of plate configurations may include an upper plate configuration and a lower plate configuration. The upper plate configuration may include an upper plate coupled to an upper flange of a casing of the thermostat housing. The lower plate configuration may include a lower plate coupled to a lower partition of the casing of the thermostat housing. In some examples, the upper and lower plate configurations may include a plurality of openings defined fit to the one or more thermostat valves.

Systems and methods are provided for a combined spark arrestor and muffler assembly. In one example, a system may include a combined housing, the combined housing including a spark arrestor portion including a plurality of stator fins, and a muffler portion including acoustic packing, the muffler portion fluidically coupled to the spark arrestor portion via a first sliding joint and a second sliding joint. In this way, a single component of a vehicle exhaust system may reduce sparks and/or carbon deposits in exhaust gas, while also reducing exhaust noise.

Various systems are provided for a charge-air cooler system. In one example, a system includes a turbocharger system having at least one compressor and one turbine and configured to provide charge air to an engine. The system also includes a charge-air cooler system having at least one charge-air cooler arranged below the at least one compressor, a turbocharger bracket arranged directly below the charge-air cooler system and shaped to mount the charge-air cooler and the turbocharger system to the engine, and a stator adapter physically coupling an alternator to the engine. The stator adapter includes an accessibility window arranged below the charge-air cooler system. The at least one charge-air cooler is closer to the accessibility window than the turbocharger system.

Methods and systems for a charge air cooler

Systems are provided for a mounting assembly providing structural support to a pair of turbocharger and charge air coolers. In one example, the mounting assembly may include support brackets and pedestals for coupling the turbochargers and the charge air coolers to one structure. Separate channels for applying lubricant and coolant to the turbochargers and the charge air coolers may be coupled to the mounting assembly.
