A method for determining a fitted position of an ophthalmic lens to be mounted on a spectacle frame equipping a wearer, the fitted position being defined with respect to a wearer referential linked to the head of the wearer. The method includes defining at least one fitting criteria relating to the positioning of the ophthalmic lens with respect to the spectacle frame, determining frame 3D data at least partially representative of the geometry and position of the spectacle frame with respect to the wearer referential, determining lens 3D data at least partially representative of the geometry of at least a peripheral portion of the ophthalmic lens, and determining the fitted position of said ophthalmic lens with respect to the wearer referential using the frame 3D data and said lens 3D data to fit the ophthalmic lens within the spectacle frame meeting the fitting criteria.

Method and system for determining a fitted position of an ophthalmic lens with respect to a wearer referential and method for determining a lens design of an ophthalmic lens

A lens element intended to be worn in front of an eye of a wearer having at least a first and a second set of optical elements providing respectively a first and a second optical function. When worn by a wearer, an optical element of the first set is located at a greater distance from the center of rotation of the eye than an optical element of the second set. At least some of the optical elements of the first set and the second set are disposed in a mutual relationship in such a way that, for at least one gaze direction, a first and a second cumulative optical effect are provided at the same time for respective at least first and second incoming light beams.

This method for retrieving at least one optical parameter of an ophthalmic lens comprises: obtaining an image of a first and second patterns by using an image capture device located at a first position; from that image, obtaining a first set of data from at least a part of the first pattern that is seen through the lens by the image capture device and obtaining a second set of data from at least a part of the second pattern that is seen directly i.e. outside the lens by the image capture device; retrieving the at least one optical parameter by using the first and second sets of data and taking account of relative positions of the image capture device, the lens and the first and second patterns.

Method and system for retrieving an optical parameter of an ophthalmic lens

A lens element intended to be worn in front of an eye of a wearer including at least a first and a second set of optical elements providing respectively a first and a second optical function. When worn by a wearer, an optical element of the first set is located at a greater distance from the center of rotation of the eye than an optical element of the second set. At least some optical elements of the second set are disposed with respect to the optical elements of the first set of the lens element to provide according to a respective first and a second gaze direction on different zones of the retina of the eye of the wearer distinct cumulative optical effects.

The disclosure relates to an optical article which comprises a hollow chamber and a separator separating the hollow chamber into a first subspace and a second subspace. The separator comprises an aperture. The optical article comprises a deformable membrane, attached, in the second subspace, along a closed line surrounding the aperture. The optical article is switchable, by deformation of the membrane, between at least three states (ST, ST, ST). Each state corresponds to a different optical function. The disclosure also comprises a corresponding method for switching said optical article between at least two of the three states.
