A support device for tubular equipment, such as a liner inside a well, and methods for using the support device, the support device including two elements attached to each other. The two elements are: a) a cylindrical sleeve, made of ductile metal and having an external diameter slightly less than an inner diameter of the well or of a casing inserted into the well; and b) a set of tabs made of hard metal, which are spaced apart from each other and integral with the cylindrical sleeve. The tabs extend downwards from the cylindrical sleeve and an outer wall of the tabs is fitted with a series of notched formations, such as teeth, whereas an inner wall of the tabs has a conical form, the apex of which is turned down.

Support device of equipment inside a well, a process for fixing it and a process for placing such equipment

Method for repairing a hanger (D) of a liner (B), for making a leak-tight connection, the liner (B) being placed inside and in the continuation of the casing (A) of a well, the method consisting in axially positioning a metal tubular blank () in the well, the blank having a solid wall radially deformable beyond its elastic limit and comprising an upper cylindrical portion () whose outer diameter is slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the casing (A), a lower portion () also cylindrical whose outer diameter is slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the liner (B), and an intermediate portion () of diameter varying between these two diameters, and causing radial expansion of at least one of these two cylindrical portions () beyond its elastic limit so that they are applied closely and firmly and in leak-tight manner against the inner face of the wall opposite the casing (A) or liner (B).

Method for repairing a liner hanger, device and blank for implementation thereof

This flexible pipe comprises a versatile and flexible tubular body (PP) which comprises, from the outside toward the inside, a pressure arch (-) with filaments () submerged in a layer of elastomer and wound in a helix with an angle of 54.7&#xb0; in relation to the profile plates and an attached sealing layer (), as well as a pair of rigid end connector tips (EC) which comprises two coaxial cylindrical sleeves, an inner one () in which the sealing layer () is fitted and held, and an outer one () which extends axially from the body side (PP) beyond the inner sleeve () while surrounding the transitional area, with variable diameter, of the pressure arch; the connector end is provided with a pair of flexible annular support elements () with variable profile, arranged at this transitional area and inserted between the sealing layer () and the pressure arch (-), and between the pressure arch (-) and the flange (), respectively, avoiding shearing of the filaments upon inflation. A pipe of this type is intended in particular for the oil industry, for the transport of liquids or gases.
