A device for joining multi-part tampon applicators, in particular three-part tampon applicators, which include at least one outer cylinder and a first inner cylinder, includes at least one joining station with at least one receiving finger for receiving one outer cylinder and one first inner cylinder each, as well as a first inner cylinder supply for loading the at least one receiving finger with at least one first inner cylinder and an outer cylinder supply for loading the at least one receiving finger with at least one outer cylinder. The device further includes a processing station for joining the at least one outer cylinder to the at least one first inner cylinder, and the at least one joining station is arranged radially on a circular disk, in particular so that the at least one receiving finger is oriented essentially radially. A method joins multi-part, in particular three-part, tampon applicators.

Device and method for joining multi-part tampon applicators

A method for winding preforms for the manufacture of tampons feeds a material tape. Strips in the form of tapes are separated from this material tape and pushed into a continuously rotating winding drum by at least one drive roller in such a way that the strip is positioned between a winding fork and a guide bar such that when the winding fork moves around the guide bar, the latter pushes a section of the strip into a fork gap of the winding fork and thus enables entrainment. Also, a corresponding device carries out the method.

An apparatus for equipping tampon applicators with tampons includes an encircling guide arrangement with an entry point, at which the tampon applicators are fed into the apparatus. The apparatus furthermore includes an exit point, at which equipped tampon applicators are discharged. The apparatus furthermore includes an equipping unit arranged between the entry point and the exit point and designed for equipping tampon applicators with tampons. A multiplicity of guide units which are guided on the guide arrangement serves for transporting the tampon applicators on the guide arrangement. A conveying apparatus for tampon applicators has a first conveyor track, which includes two transport belts which are arranged spaced apart from each other. The transport belts each have a bearing axis. The conveying apparatus furthermore has a first conveyor drive for driving at least one of the two spaced-apart transport belts, and transport belts which are arranged spaced apart from each other in such a manner that a tampon applicator which is to be conveyed rests on the two transport belts in an intermediate space between the transport belts. The bearing axes of the transport belts are arranged parallel; in particular in the case of transport belts having the same conveying direction. Furthermore, a method conveys tampon applicators.
