A cannula and method include a shaft portion having a proximal end, a distal end, a longitudinal axis and a lumen extending from the proximal end to the oppositely disposed distal end along the longitudinal axis. A hub is attached to the proximal end of the shaft portion and includes a transverse portion, which extends transversely relative to the longitudinal axis of the shaft portion. An opaque marker is disposed on the transverse portion at a position corresponding to an expanded size of an expandable element such that the opaque marker indicates the expanded size in an imaging system image.

Methods of filling bone cavities are provided. The methods use a bone cement mixing and delivery device that includes a shaft extending along an axis from a first end to a second end and including a passageway. The first end includes an adapter having a first opening that is in communication with the passageway. The second end includes a second opening that is in communication with the passageway. The shaft includes a mixing portion between the first and second ends. A connector includes a central portion that that is coupled to the adapter. The central portion includes a channel that is in communication with the first opening. The connector includes first and second ports that extend from the central portion. The first port includes a first lumen that is in communication with the channel. The second port includes a second lumen that is in communication with the channel.

A method and a device for low x-ray radiation dosage while taking x-ray images of a patient's teeth is disclosed. The method includes use of an x-ray source and receiver positioned at least partially inside the patient's mouth. The device includes an x-ray source and receiver attached together by a bite holder and configured to both be disposed at least partially inside the patient's mouth across a tooth while taking x-ray images of a patient's tooth.

The present invention relates to a composition comprising: a) a first component comprising a poly(methyl met 5 hacrylate) (PMMA), a contrast agent, a radical donor and calcium based particles; and b) a second component comprising methyl methacrylate (MMA), a radical scavenger, and a polymerization accelerator; wherein the composition has an average setting time of about 13 minutes.

A bone support and/or barrier device and having an implantable structure including an outer surface, an inner surface, a first bone contact portion, and a second bone contact portion. The structure is collapsible to an undeployed configuration capable of percutaneous insertion to the interior of a bone and expandable to a deployed configuration in the bone. In the deployed configuration, the first bone contact portion contacts a first portion of the bone, and the second bone contact portion contacts a second portion of the bone such that a load placed on the first portion of the bone is transferred through the implantable structure to the second portion of the bone. The implantable structure includes a barrier material adapted to restrict bone filler material inserted into the bone adjacent the inner surface of the structure from flowing to the outer surface of the structure. A method is also disclosed.

A system to help a viewer find stars, planets, deep sky objects and constellations is disclosed. The system has a series of sky maps showing different views of the sky. One or more tables is provided for each map. The tables assist in corresponding the sky map to the sky. The tables have coordinates corresponding to times and dates and inform the viewer as to the direction in which he should look, the way in which the sky map should be oriented and whether the viewer should look high in the sky, low in the sky or in-between.
