A basketball training apparatus to provide user feedback on shooting form is provided. The basketball training apparatus includes a sleeve disposed around the user's upper arm and forearm, a strut assembly coupled to the sleeve and having an upper strut pivotably mounted to a lower strut, a Hall Effect sensor disposed within the junction of the upper and lower struts, a pair of magnets coupled to the strut assembly's junction, a controller disposed within the strut assembly and electrically coupled to the Hall Effect sensor, and an alert mechanism disposed within the strut assembly and electrically coupled to the controller. Pivotable movement of the upper strut relative to the lower strut to either a first optimal angle or second optimal angle enables the alert mechanism to generate a notification.

Basketball training apparatus with real-time user feedback on shooting form

Implementations of the present invention comprise devices, systems, components, and methods for use with bicycle pedals. For example, implementations of the invention provide a bicycle pedal system that efficiently and easily allows a cyclist to securely engage an engagement assembly located on the spindle with a cleat. In particular, implementations of the present invention provide an engagement assembly with a first and a second grabber. The first grabber and second grabber are easily guided to come into contact with protrusions located on the cleat such that the engagement assembly securely engages the cleat, thus allowing a cyclist to take advantage of both down-strokes and up-strokes, while at the same time providing an easy and efficient way for the cyclist to engage the pedals.

Bicycle pedal system

In one example, an apparatus for teaching a student how to snow ski includes a removably attachable instructor component, a removably attachable student component, and means for temporarily securing the instructor component and student component together. The instructor component has a first end defining a cavity configured to receive a bottom end of an instructor's ski pole and a second end disposed opposite the first end. The student component has a first end configured to attach to a portion of a student's ski equipment and a second end disposed opposite the first end.
