An ink writing instrument comprising a body extending along an axis and having a first end, the first end being provided with a writing tip and with an eraser, the eraser is movable along the axis with regard to the body, a helical-cam propelling mechanism being configured to move the eraser along the axis between a retracted position and a protruded position, the helical-cam propelling mechanism comprising a helical cam radially protruding from one of the eraser and the body, and two cam followers arranged on the other of the eraser and the body, the two cam followers axially sandwiching the helical cam at least when the eraser is moved between the retracted position and the protruded position.

A manual device for applying a coating on a substrate by means of a tape has an applicator endpiece assembled to a casing and projecting from the casing. The applicator endpiece extends along a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction. The applicator endpiece has an attachment portion for assembling it to the casing, an applicator portion for applying the coating on the substrate, and a stem extending along the longitudinal direction between the attachment portion and the applicator portion. The stem is elastically deformable in such a manner that the applicator portion is movable between a rest position and an application position. The stem is an iso-stress stem.

A manual device extends in an axial direction and includes a housing having a first housing portion and a second housing portion. First and second heads are each axially movable between a use position and a stowed position. The first head is in the stowed position when the second head is in the use position, whereas the second head is in the stowed position when the first head is in the use position. The first head and the second head both are carried by a single carriage movable in the axial direction and arranged inside a barrel. A groove forming a cam track is formed by a first shoulder of the first housing portion and by a second shoulder of the barrel. A lug of the carriage cooperates with the groove.

The first portion is engaged at least in part with the second portion while being movable in translation in an axial direction relative to the second portion. The locking device includes a slot formed in the first barrel and two ramps carried by the second barrel. The slot extends in the longitudinal direction and has two longitudinal edges. The two ramps are configured to part the two longitudinal edges of the slot progressively in a circumferential direction as the first and second barrels are assembled. A window extends in the longitudinal direction formed between the two ramps, and a lateral button is housed at least partially in the window that includes guide surfaces for guiding the lateral button.
