Devices and techniques are generally described for process optimization using reinforcement learning. In various examples, first input data is received and a first process for processing the first input data is determined. In some examples, a second process for processing the first input data is determined. A first machine learning model is used to generate a first prediction for processing the first input data by the first process. The first process and/or the second process are controlled based at least in part on the first prediction.

Processing optimization using machine learning

A method comprising sending query data representative of a query to a first and second query-answering subsystem of a query-answering system. It is determined that the query-answering system lacks a satisfactory answer to the query. Paraphrase data representative of a rephrased version of the query is received. The paraphrase data is sent to the first and second query-answering subsystems. Answer data representative of an answer to the rephrased version of the query is received from the first query-answering subsystem.

Query paraphrasing

An apparatus and method for supporting the rider of a pedaled device, such as a bicycle. One preferred apparatus includes first and second seat portions independently pivotable about a generally horizontal axis normal to a frame plane of the bicycle to allow, during bike pedaling, substantially unimpeded downward movement of the rear of the rider's upper-thighs, while the rider's buttocks remain free to contact the seat portions. The seat portions are preferably configured to jointly support the rider and to provide a gap for the rider's groin. The seat portions are preferably secured to the bicycle frame in a manner that allows adjustable lateral rotation in relation to the bicycle frame, further facilitating the rider's freedom of movement during pedaling.

Bicycle seat

An abdominal restraint system for protecting a patient from the strain of a cough or the like in which an abdominal belt is tightened around the patient in response to physiological conditions of the patient associated with onset of a cough or the like. Detection of cough onset is achieved by means of pressure sensors, body movement sensors or both. Controlled restraint is achieved by selective inflation or mechanical tightening of the belt.

Sponge measuring device

Dual vacuum cleaing heads are provided above the sheet of warp yarns at opposite ends of a slasher intake portion where the multiple section beams are mounted on a creel ahead of the sizing bath. The two suction heads thoroughly remove debris from the sheet of warps at two locations before the sheet enters the sizing bath. The suction heads are suspended by transparent vacuum hoses from overhead serially connected vacuum manifolds. One manifold is connected with a centrifugal fan which evacuates both manifolds and delivers debris to a collection tank immediately ahead of the fan and having a filter. Viewing windows and clean-out ports are provided in the system.
