Systems, devices, and methods relate to generation of augmented images using virtual content that is part of an augmented reality presentation and images of a scene captured via an image sensor. A wearable heads-up display (WHUD) may present an augmented reality presentation with virtual content projected into a field of view of a scene, while an image sensor captures images of the scene. The image sensor may be part of the WHUD or part of a separate device, for instance part of a smartphone. A wearer may view a scene via the WHUD and capture an image of all or a portion of the scene, for instance via a camera of either the WHUD or a separate device. An application monitors the virtual content and can generate an augmented image, which can be transmitted/printed, replicating the augmented reality experience and/or adding customized messages to the resulting augmented image.

Systems and methods for managing communications between a wearable computing device and at least one remote computing device, using a host computing device. The host computing device provides a message handling service that receives one or more messages directed to the wearable computing device from the remote computing device, or directed to the remote computing device from the wearable computing device, and, for each of the one or more messages, determines an action associated with the respective message; and takes the action for each of the one or more messages.

Systems and methods for communication between a wearable device and a remote device

Systems, devices, and methods for generating and sending messages are described. messages are autonomously generated by at least one processor by identifying environmental context of a device, system, or user, such that minimal input is required from the user. Environmental context can include at least time, date, calendar entries, user activity, location, physical environment, message history, and relationship between users. Messages can also be generated by generating a first portion of a message, and having the user select a second portion to complete the message. Recipients for a message can be autonomously determined based on environmental context and content of a message to be sent.
