Listing content is transmitted from a wireless mobile device to a server, where it is automatically posted in a listing database and made available on a network, such as the Internet, to third parties. The listing content may include both image data, captured by an integrated camera of the wireless mobile device, and text data, input by a user of the wireless mobile device. The wireless mobile device may provide an interface on its display to facilitate the capture of the listing content in discrete data components. After capture, the discrete data components for a single listing may be automatically associated together such that it is unnecessary for a user to manually associate them. The captured listing content may be automatically transmitted to the server in response to a single user selection received through the interface on the wireless mobile device.

Point-and-shoot product lister

Electronic commerce over a publicly accessible computer network such as the Internet is facilitated and leveraged by a computer system that forms a community of computer user parties based on personal and business connections of the parties involved. Personal connections are created between users by invitation and mutual acceptance. Business connections are created between users when a transaction takes place between those users. Users search to perform any one or more of a variety of actions such as to purchase products, browse departments and categories for purchasing products, or explore the connections between the parties involved to find items to buy. Different groupings of the parties involved may be the users themselves and other buyers/sellers in the business network, the users themselves and their friends in the personal networks, or some combination of buyers/sellers and friends from each of the types of networks. A computer or server at a site in the network implements an architecture whereby various pages viewed by a user have links to enable them to find products.

In one embodiment, an offer for a specified product or service is made by an online provider or retailer. The selling user uploads an image file of the item to the marketplace website's server. The server contains a random image size generator that generates at least two additional images of the item that are presented to the selling user for selection of the image that the selling user wants to include on the selling website to advertise the item.

Systems, program product, and methods of electronic communication network guided navigation which allow users to obtain more relevant product search results much more quickly, are provided. An example of a system can allow a user to enter or start a product search request for a relatively broad term in a search engine and quickly start looking for relevant information by assisting the user in narrowing the product search results in a more efficient guided search. The results can be displayed to a user in a row of boxes, which focus the user on categories of potential intentions or meanings behind the product search request term or terms so that the user's intent can be quickly ascertained and the user directed to results more closely aligned with or coinciding with the user's intent behind the product search request.
