A system for managing heat generated by electronic equipment in an electronic equipment enclosure is provided. The system includes a duct adapted to receive a first portion of the electronic equipment. The first portion of the electronic equipment includes an air intake opening. The duct forms a barrier between the first portion of the electronic equipment and a second portion of the electronic equipment. The second portion of the electronic equipment includes an air exhaust opening. The barrier separates cooled air entering the air intake opening and heated air exiting the air exhaust opening.

Systems and methods for managing heat generated by electronic equipment in an electronic equipment enclosure

A vertical exhaust duct for an electronic equipment enclosure is provided. The vertical exhaust duct includes a first duct section, a second duct section slidably connected to the first duct section and extendable to a first height above the first duct section, and a third duct section slidably connected to the second duct section and extendable to a second height above the second duct section.

Adjustable vertical exhaust duct

An equipment rail and bracket assembly is provided. The equipment rail and bracket assembly includes an equipment rail and a bracket. The equipment rail is mounted to the bracket. The equipment rail includes a relief cut-out and a flexible tongue formed by the relief cut-out. The flexible tongue includes a bracket mounting opening for mounting the equipment rail to the bracket. The flexible tongue rotates relative to the equipment rail when the bracket is mounted to a cabinet.

Equipment rail and bracket assembly

A thermal management system for an electronic equipment enclosure is provided. The thermal management system includes an intake duct for routing cold air in the front of the electronic equipment enclosure to the side of electronic equipment enclosure and one or more blanking panels for separating cold air in the front of the electronic equipment enclosure and hot air in the back of the electronic enclosure, as needed, for example, depending on the configuration of the thermal management system and/or the electronic equipment enclosure. The intake duct includes a front cover, which acts as an additional blanking panel, when installed, changing the airflow pattern of the electronic equipment enclosure, for example, from side-to-side to front-to back.

A network cabinet is provided includes a base member, two pairs of vertical frame rail members connected to the base member, and a top cover supported by at least one of the vertical frame rail members. The base member defines an opening and another opening is defined in the top cover. The vertical frame rail members are positioned spaced apart from four sidewalls from four corners of the cabinet formed by the four sidewalls, where each sidewall includes a panel or a door. The two pairs of vertical frame rail members and the four sidewalls define at least one cable management pathway and at least a portion of the cable management pathway is vertically aligned with at least a portion of the opening of the base member and the opening of the top cover.

Network cabinet

Certain embodiments of the present invention provide a system for managing heat generated by electronic equipment in an electronic equipment enclosure. The electronic equipment enclosure includes a first pair of equipment rails and a second pair of equipment rails spaced apart from the first pair of equipment rails. The system includes a duct connected to the first pair of equipment rails and a bracket connected to the second pair of equipment rails and spaced apart from the duct. The duct is adapted to receive a first portion of the electronic equipment and the bracket is adapted to receive a second portion of the electronic equipment. The first portion of the electronic equipment includes an air intake opening and the second portion of the electronic equipment includes an air exhaust opening. The duct forms a barrier between the air intake opening and the air exhaust opening for separating cooled air entering the electronic equipment and heated air exiting the electronic equipment.

A network cabinet is provided comprising a base member, two pairs of vertical frame rail members connected to the base member, and a top cover supported by at least one of the vertical frame rail members. The base member defines an opening and another opening is defined in the top cover. The vertical frame rail members are positioned spaced apart from four sidewalls from four corners of the cabinet formed by the four sidewalls, where each sidewall comprises a panel or a door. The two pairs of vertical frame rail members and the four sidewalls define at least one cable management pathway and at least a portion of the cable management pathway is vertically aligned with at least a portion of the opening of the base member and the opening of the top cover. The network cabinet may also comprise two front corner posts and two rear corner posts.

A wall mount cabinet is disclosed. The wall mount cabinet includes a rear section having a first end and a second end, and a front section hingedly connected to the rear section at a pivot point. The rear section has a cutout area adjacent the first end, and the cutout area allows access for cables to enter the cabinet. The pivot point is adjacent the cutout area and the first end of the rear section. The cutout area allows cables to rotate about the pivot point when the cabinet is moved from a closed position to an open position.

Wall mount cabinet system

A network cabinet comprising an electronic component a duct positioned therein. The electronic component has at least one exhaust vent and the duct defines first and second openings. The first opening aligns with the exhaust vent such that the duct receives exhaust therefrom and the duct extends from the first opening toward a side of the network cabinet such that the second opening faces the side of the cabinet to direct the exhaust thereto.

Network cabinet with thermal air flow management system

A network cabinet is provided comprising a door comprising first and second opposing lateral sides. A hinge lever is rotatably connected to the door and a retractable hinge pin is connected to the hinge lever and is positioned closer to the first lateral side of the door than the second lateral side. A lever stop is also connected to the door and is associated with the hinge lever. The lever stop prevents retraction of the hinge pin from an extended position with the second lateral side of the door in an open position.

An apparatus for mounting electronic equipment is provided having a base frame and an equipment rail mounted to the base frame by a threaded member, which provides an electrical bond between the base frame and the equipment rail.
