The present disclosure is related to an insulation displacement contact (&ldquo;IDC&rdquo;) device that transfers electrical contact between two telecommunication cables to complete a media connection. The IDC includes a printed circuit board (&ldquo;PCB&rdquo;) which utilizes the positional relationship of a plurality of conductors in communication with the two telecommunication cables to form a capacitance, such that the Near-end Crosstalk (NEXT) and Far End Crosstalk (FEXT) are reduced without compromising impedance.

The present invention teaches a cable management system for supporting and routing cables. The cable management system includes one or more cable supports attached to a support structure such as a wall or electronics cabinet. Each cable support includes one or more cable spools detachably mounted to a spool guide. The spool guide includes a channel extending along its length and in-turned flanges that extend partially across the opening of the channel. Each cable spool includes a spool body and a coupler. The coupler has a retractable brace that can be inserted into the channel, rotated and retracted toward the spool body for clamping the in-turned flanges between the brace and the spool body.

A bend limiting fiber management clip for mounting on a panel has generally rectangular top and bottom walls, and a pillar extending between the top and bottom walls and arcuately between diagonal corners of the walls. Convexly arcuate retaining arms extend upwardly from the bottom wall to adjacent the top wall at the other diagonal corners of the walls, and a depending boss is provided on the bottom wall which seats in a cooperating aperture of a panel. The top wall may have an aperture cooperatively dimensioned with said boss in which the boss of a second clip may be engaged, and the arcuate retaining arms have outwardly inclined projections at the upper ends thereof extending upwardly from the top wall. Four clips are mounted in a rectangular array, and cables may be wound about the outer surface of the pillars or about the inner surface.
