An aircraft windshield that improves pilot and co-pilot's perception of the outside world. The windshield includes a transparent panel held inside a structure of the aircraft, in which the upper part and the lower part are bridged so that the loads applied to the panel are (at least partially) diverted. Due to part of the loads applied on the panel being diverted, it is possible to provide a larger window panel than currently available that offers better visibility to the outside.

Method and system of simple, precise, rapid and automatic control to verify fit between a manufactured device and its digital mock-up modelling it beforehand. The system includes a scanner configured to produce a three-dimensional cloud of points representative of the device, as well as a processor and a memory configured to superpose the cloud of points on the digital mock-up, coordinate the cloud of points with polychrome images captured during the scanning of the device and stored in a memory, disperse the cloud of points into several sets of points, each set of points corresponding to an object identified in the polychrome images, establish a correspondence between the sets of points and nodes of a treelike structure identifying the digital mock-up, and evaluate a fit between the cloud of points and the digital mock-up by analyzing the correspondence between the sets of points and the nodes of the treelike structure.

Control of a device with respect to its numerical model

Method of device for installation of avionics cabinets, electrical master boxes and IFE bays includes relocating at least some of the systems cabinets toward the front of the aircraft by making use of the space available in the area around the landing gear compartment. To do so, systems cabinets are used which incorporate a structural function. The use of such system cabinet designs thus allows a reduction in the aerodynamic drag and mass of the aircraft, thereby positively impacting fuel consumption and performance of the aircraft.

Method and system for the remote inspection of a structure

This system makes it possible to join a substantially flat base of an element to be fixed to a top plate. It is provided with: at least one hole of elongated shape made in the top plate, a shaft extending substantially perpendicular to the base of the element to be fixed and mounted movable in rotation relative to its longitudinal axis, a fixation head of elongated shape matched to the shape of the hole made in the top plate and disposed on a first side of the base of the element to be fixed, control means for making the shaft pivot around its axis and disposed, relative to the fixation head, on the other side of the base of the element to be fixed.

System for fixing

A window intended to be assembled over an opening defined in an outside wall having on the one hand an outer partition and on the other hand an inner partition. This window includes a glazing, means making it possible to hold the glazing in the opening of the outside wall, while ensuring a watertightness at the outer partition, and a connection crosspiece between the outer partition and the inner partition. The crosspiece is implemented so as to make it possible to guide light having passed through the glazing toward the inner partition. Means making it possible to diffuse the light guided by the crosspiece are arranged at the inner partition.

Window, in particular a window for an aircraft cabin

An aircraft in which it is possible to replace windshield panes of the mineral type with windshield panes of the organic type and vice versa, without the frame of the aircraft structure having to be modified. The pane is held in place on the frame by a window pane retainer specific to the pane. The frame has no through-holes opening to the outside of the aircraft for fastening the pane. The window pane retainer specific to a pane of the organic type has pins passing through the acrylic panes. The disclosed embodiments also relate to a method of replacing a pane of a first type with a pane of a second type.
