Described herein are various coupling systems to be used with storage units that are selectively coupled and decoupled. The coupling systems may be used with storage units that are stackable and/or transportable, thus allowing the storage units to function well within a large stationary environment, such as a basement, and also for a subset of the storage units to be selected and easily moved to another location.

Tool storage

A laser level emits one or more planar lasers that can be self-leveled via one or more internal leveling systems. The motors bias a platform to rotate the laser emitters to a targeted orientation, such as via the motors collectively rotating the laser emitters in response to instructions to rotate with respect to one or more axes.

Laser level with internal adjustable platform

An extendible or adjustable length level is provided. The level includes a locking mechanism allowing the user to fix the level at a selected or desired level. The locking system allows the user to lock the level at the desired length and provides more effective and robust locking than conventional expanding levels. In some embodiments, the locking mechanism is designed such that translational movement of the user-actuated control (as opposed to rotational motion) is used to move the locking mechanism into the locked position.

Length adjustable level

The systems described in this disclosure can be used in construction settings to facilitate the tasks being performed. The location of projectors and augmented reality headsets can be calculated and used to determine what images to display to a worker, based on a map of work to be performed, such as a construction plan. Workers can use spatially-aware tools to make different locations be plumb, level, or equidistant with other locations. Power to tools can be disabled if they are near protected objects.

Spatially-aware tool system

A storage container with various aspects is described herein. The storage container may have cleats or cleat receptacles to interact with other storage containers and/or accessories. The storage container may also include rails for attachment of various accessories. Some versions of the storage container may further include telescopic uprights connected to a handle. Many of the versions of the storage containers may further include wheels for transporting the storage containers and their contents.

Storage device system

Various laser level designs and targets are shown. In one example, a laser level emits one or more lasers that can be self-leveled via an internal leveling mechanism. The one or more lasers can be rotated and adjusted in response to commands received from a user. One or more laser levels described project target lights at predetermined distances on a surface, such as a ceiling.

Laser level systems and controls

A laser projection device with compact frame is provided, as is a corresponding frame or mount for one or more laser projection devices. In one embodiment the frame or mount includes a coupling interface that permits multiple coupling positions with respect to a laser projection device, such as at 90 degree intervals.

Laser projection tools and mounting accessories

Various laser level designs and remote controls are shown. In another example, the remote control for a laser level receives a plurality of interface protocols configured to control one or more laser levels, and subsequently selects one of the interface protocols when initiating control of a laser level. In another example, the relative positions a remote control with respect to a laser level are determined, and subsequently a visual representation is presented at the remote control based on the relative positions.

Laser level interface and control

A power tool includes a power tool housing including a fluid inlet and a discharge outlet. A motor is supported by the power tool housing. A tool is configured to be moved relative to the housing by the motor. A fan is configured to be rotated by the motor, such that a fluid flow with debris generated by movement of the tool is drawn into the fluid inlet and through the discharge outlet. A filter is removably attached to the power tool housing. The filter includes a filter media configured to separate the debris from the flow of fluid. The filter media includes a collection container configured to store the debris. The filter also includes an opening in the filter media through which the flow of fluid with the debris enters the collection container, and a valve that is moveable between a closed position and an open position.
