Azalide antibiotics such as azithromycin are useful in the treatment and prevention of infections by bacteria and other parasites. Stabilized aqueous compositions containing azithromycin suitable for administration without reconstitution are provided for. Also provided for are aqueous formulations suitable for ocular administration in a employing a convenient dosing formulation suitable for administration in depot formats.

The present invention relates to the use of quinolone carboxylic acid formulations in the treatment of ocular and periocular infections. Quinolone carboxylic acid compositions and related methods of treatment

An ophthalmic composition containing a divalent salt and a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent as a precipitate. The composition reduces or eliminates the risk of stinging and burning the eye from topical application. Additionally a preservative system comprising a perborate salt, a polyphosphonic acid peroxy stabilizer and EDTA provides stable preservation of a variety of aqueous ophthalmic compositions.
