The present invention relates to an additized blended fuel composition comprising of 97 to 50 weight % of liquified petroleum gas (LPG); 3 to 50 weight % of dimethyl ether (DME); and a nanocatalyst. More particularly, the present invention relates to an improvement in the combustion efficiency of the DME blended LPG fuel by using catalytic amount of the nano-catalyst, when introduced in ppm level enhances the combustion properties, thereby increasing the flame temperature and reducing the consumption of fuel gas mixture.

Additized DME/LPG fuel for improving combustion efficiency

The present invention relates to an anti-viral nanoformulation suitable for diverse surface application in form of hydrogel based nanoemulsion, or an aerosol spray. The present invention discloses incorporation of nanomaterials such as functionalized carbon quantum dots (F-CQDs), copper nanoparticles (CuNPs) or silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) into the hydrogel (HG) scaffold to act as chemical barrier and anti-viral agent against SARS-CoV-2 or: phage MS2. The nanoformulation is coated on personal protective equipment's (PPE) and different surfaces such as glass, steel and plastic to control viral infection including corona virus infection.

This invention is related to an additive composition comprising metal-based quantum clusters (QCs) dispersed in a hydrocarbon medium. The additive composition is useful as a fuel additive, as it acts as a combustion improver for liquid and gaseous fuels. The invention describes a process for the synthesis of the additive composition comprising metal-based materials in atomic cluster form in hydrocarbon dispersible medium. The stable liquid dispersion of the QC has been doped into the hydrocarbon fuels at required concentrations. The measurable flame temperature of the fuels, e.g., commercial LPG on burner has been observed to increase by at least 60-80&#xb0; C. The flame with high heat through put can be used for efficient cooking, heating, annealing and other high thermal applications. The additive composition may also be used to improve the fuel economy of the liquid hydrocarbon fuels.

Additive composition as a combustion improver for liquid and gaseous fuels

The present invention relates to use of Perovskite type of materials as combustion improver in gaseous and liquid fuels. Structurally, the Perovskite material consists of ABO, ABCOor ABCOkind of material with stoichiometric deficiency and oxygen deficient sites. More particularly, the present invention relates to the nanosized perovskite materials stably dispersed in hydrocarbon medium and compatible to the fuel has been used to improve the combustion process and generate more heat output.

Nano perovskite materials as combustion improver for liquid and gaseous fuels

The present invention provides a process for in situ synthesis of dispersion of ZnO and TiOnanoparticles in an oil medium, wherein the process comprises: (a) providing layered basic zinc hydroxide (LBZ) in an oil medium, containing a dispersant, (b) providing a titanium precursor in the oil medium to obtain a mixture, (c) hydrolyzing the mixture to obtain a suspension, and (d) decomposing the suspension to obtain a dispersion of mixture of ZnO and TiOnanoparticles. The present invention also provides an oil dispersion comprising dispersant stabilized mixture of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide nanoparticles were synthesized through this process. The dispersion contains up to 2.5 Wt % metals loading balanced with dispersant and base oil or dispersant alone. Addition of this dispersion to oil of lubricating viscosity improves the anti-wear property and resulting a low SAPS formulation.

The present invention relates to a process for synthesizing dispersion of ZnO nanoparticles in an oil medium. Particularly, the invention relates to a process for in-situ synthesis of dispersion of ZnO nanoparticles in oil medium. Additionally, the present invention relates to a lubricant oil composition, wherein the composition comprises a base oil, a dispersant and the dispersion of ZnO as obtained by the process of the present invention.
