The invention relates to a worktable including a work-plate mountable on a support structure, the support structure comprising at least two frames, each frame being either an integral frame or comprising two or more frame members, articulated to one another along a vertical axis, and being pivotally displaceable with respect to one another between an open position and a collapsed position, forming, in the open position, a work-plate bearing structure, and being, in the collapsed position, flush with one another and providing a storage space for the work-plate. The work-plate being rigidly attachable to the work-plate bearing structure of the support structure.

A coupling is provided between a sheet member with an edge of a thickness T, having at least one opening formed adjacent the edge, and a receiving member formed with a recess of a width W and spacers defining within the recess a groove of a width w, which meets the condition T&#x3c;w&#x3c;W. The recess comprises at least one projection protruding into the groove, and the groove is adapted to slidingly receive the edge of the sheet member with the projection snap-fitting into the opening, thereby providing a secure coupling between the sheet and receiving member.

Method for connecting plastic elements to metal sheets and constructions

A collapsible table includes a table top formed of a pair of pivotable table top half-sections hinged to one another at their adjacent edges along a center-line of the table and displaceable between an open position where the half-sections are coplanar, and a folded position where the half-sections overlap one another. Each half-section has at an undersurface thereof a transverse support member pivotally articulated thereto with a leg associated with each lateral edge of the transverse support member, and a pair of longitudinal support members pivotally articulated to the undersurface. The support members are displaceable between erect and collapsed positions whereby the transverse support member is prohibited from collapsing as long as at least one of the longitudinal support members is erect.

A hand truck comprising a platform fitted at opposed side walls thereof with a handle-engaging assembly, and a handle assembly comprising two parallel spaced arms, each fitted at its lower end with a platform engaging assembly. The handle is displaceable between three respective positions, namely a first position in which the handle is substantially up-right and which position is a pull/push position, a second position in which the handle is inclined and useful as a push position, and a third position in which the handle is and slidably received within the platform.

A portable workshop container assembly adapted to store tools and other articles a worker requires to perform various tasks at a workplace. The assembly includes three major components in stacked relation. The lower component is a wheeled bucket, the middle component is a tray nested in the bucket and provided with a rim, and the third component is a tool box that rests on the rim. Also provided is a latching mechanism having a latch which is pivoted by a toggle member to the upper end of the bucket and cooperates with a first catch element mounted at the bottom of the tool box and a second catch element mounted on the rim of the tray. When the tool box rests on the rim, the first and second catch elements are then adjacent each other. In one mode of operation, the latch simultaneously engages the first and second latch elements to interlock all three components to form a unitary assembly that can be wheeled to the work place.

The invention relates to a worktable mountable on a sawhorse, the sawhorse including two frames articulated to one another along a longitudinal top axis, and a top bar having two side faces extending parallel to the longitudinal axis. The worktable includes a top bar receiving member and at least one work plate articulated thereto, the top bar receiving member including a receiving portion fitted for snugly receiving the top bar and at least one support leg for supporting the at least one work plate at a substantially horizontal position.

A sawhorse for supporting workpieces while being worked is provided. The sawhorse includes a pair of sides which are joined at their upper ends for supporting the workpiece and which diverge at their lower ends for stable support of the sawhorse and the workpiece thereon on a horizontal supporting surface, characterized in that the lower end of each of the sides includes vertically-adjustable extension for adjusting the height of the sawhorse.
