A device configured to mechanically remove a fat phase from at least one adipose tissue includes a first pressing element and a second pressing element. Furthermore, a method for preparing a preparation including a fat-depleted adipose tissue, comprises mechanically removing a fat phase from at least one adipose tissue. In addition, there is provided a preparation including a fat-depleted adipose tissue, wherein the fat-depleted adipose tissue is prepared by mechanically removing a fat phase from at least one adipose tissue.

Fat-depleted adipose tissue and a device and method for preparing the same

Microcapillary network based scaffold

A porous scaffold is disclosed, the porous scaffold comprising electrospun polymeric nanofibers, wherein an average diameter of a pore of the porous scaffold is about 300 &#x3bc;m is disclosed. An average diameter of the polymeric nanofibers ranges from about 100 to 400 nm. The scaffold may comprise a plurality of particles, the particles being greater than about 1 &#x3bc;m in diameter. Methods of fabricating scaffolds, methods for generating tissue and methods of using scaffolds for tissue reconstruction are also disclosed.

Electrospun scaffolds and methods of generating and using same

Articles of manufacturing comprising electrospun elements having continuous or stepwise gradients of porosity, average pore size, weight per volume and/or of agents for promoting cell colonization, differentiation, extravasation and/or migration are provided.
