A system of wall-mounted audio system zone controllers, each having a digital display of a QR code that is unique to that particular wall-mounted controller. By scanning the QR code with a smart phone, or the like, where that smartphone is connected to the same network as the audio processing assembly that is communicatively connected to the particular wall-mounted zone controller, a user gains access to a website that provides expanded and remote audio control functionality over and above that provided by the wall-mounted zone controller itself. A wireless network router is in communication with the audio processing assembly and with the smart phones used to scan QR codes.

An output circuit (10) prevents the propagation of false signals caused by inductive voltages present at the power supply (Vcc) and ground (46) nodes by latching the input signal until the inductive voltages have dissipated. Inverting stages (28, 30 and 32) provide a predetermined time interval over which the input signal is latched.

Dynamic input latch

A complimentary output pair (10) having a P-channel transistor (12) and an N-channel transistor (14) prevents output voltage spikes due to rapid changes in current with respect to time at the V.sub.cc power supply and ground (32) nodes by using a 'graded turn-on.' Both the P-channel transistor (12) and the N-channel (14) utilize a serpentine polysilicon gate (16), (24), in order to sequentially turn on the sub-transistors in response to a changing input. Pull-up (36) and pull-down (40) transistors are used to turn the sub-transistors (21a-j, 29a-f) off simultaneously.
