The wakesurfing system may include a first and second reel assembly arranged and configured to retract a discarded surf rope. The second reel assembly may be replaced by a retraction device. The first reel assembly may have a telescoping and rotatable boom and may be coupled to a side of the watercraft. The second reel assembly or retraction device may be coupled to a rear portion of the watercraft. The first reel assembly may have a first reel cord coupled to a handle of the surf rope, and the second reel assembly may have a second reel cord coupled to a proximal location of the surf rope. The first reel cord and either second reel cord or retraction device, and the surf rope, may be in a retracted position when not in use, and in an extended position when used by a wakesurfer.

Wakesurfing systems and methods

Many embodiments described herein prevent damage to a surf rope and/or watercraft due to a surf rope remaining in the water after it is released by a wakesurfer. The wakesurfing system may include a first and second reel assembly arranged and configured to retract a discarded surf rope. The first reel assembly may have a telescoping and rotatable boom and may be coupled to a side of the watercraft. The second reel assembly may be coupled to a tower, pylon, or ski hook of the watercraft. The first reel assembly may have a first cord reel coupled to a handle of the surf rope, and the second reel assembly may have a second cord reel coupled to a proximal location of the surf rope. The first and second cord reels, and the surf rope, may be in a retracted position when not in use, and in an extended position when used by a wakesurfer.

Systems and methods for providing a manufacturer portal are disclosed. More specifically, in one embodiment a content distribution system, as a central location for user generated content may also provide manufacturers with a portal to monitor, and participate in, the process of content generation and distribution. This portal may provide the manufacturers with the ability to: view generated content related to that manufacturer and to filter this user generated content utilizing a wide variety of criteria and to generate content which may be responsive to presented generated content. Content generated by a manufacturer through their portal may subsequently be incorporated into one or more retailer's site utilizing the content distribution system.

Method and system for providing content generation capabilities

Systems and methods for distributing user-generated content are disclosed. Specifically, embodiments of the present invention may allow content to be generated by a user at a manufacturer's site with respect to a corresponding product and this content distributed to one or more retailers who sell that product such that the user-generated content may be incorporated into the retailer's site or brick and mortar location in conjunction with that product to allow consumers shopping at that retailer to access or view such user-generated content.

Method and system for distribution of user generated content

Systems and methods for promoting user generation of content are disclosed. More particularly, embodiments of systems and methods to facilitate the generation of content by users are disclosed. Specifically, in one embodiment, in order to drive generation of desired content, the generation of content by a user may be linked to an opportunity to generate additional content (where the two types of content may be the same or different). In particular, in certain embodiments when a user has generated a first type of content the opportunity to generate a second type of content may be presented to that user.
