The present disclosure provides a magnet device for providing the magnetic density changes/magnetic field changes in relation to a detecting position. The magnet device comprises a magnet member adapted to be mounted on a rotatable shaft and be rotated for producing the magnetic density changes/magnetic field changes in relation to the detecting position when the magnet member is rotating around the rotatable shaft. To concentrate/condense the density of the magnetic density changes/magnetic field changes, the magnet device includes a magnetic flux density concentrator.

Magnet device and position sensing system

Provided is a magnet device for use with a position sensor. The magnet device has a magnetizing direction and has magnetic field intensity components in the magnetizing direction. The magnet device is formed with a groove recessed in the magnetizing direction, so that the magnetic field intensity components are substantially equal in the transverse direction of the magnetizing direction. The present invention further discloses a magnet assembly including the magnet device for use with a position sensor and a sensing system including the magnet assembly, particularly a neutral position sensor. The axial measuring length of a transmission shaft is prolonged with the length of the magnet device remains unchanged to meet the requirements of different customers, and the reliability of the sensing system is improved.

A carrier assembly for attaching a magnet to a shaft of a valve assembly includes a carrier housing having a magnet holder portion, a shaft holder portion, and a plurality of fingers extending from the shaft holder portion. The carrier assembly includes a locking collar wherein the collar is installed over the carrier housing and moved from a open position to a closed position. The collar is further moved to a locked position to lock the carrier assembly to the shaft.

Magnet carrier assembly

A relative angle sensor includes a stator unit, a magnet unit, and a collector unit. The stator unit includes a stator shaft coupled to and disposed between an upper stator ring and a lower stator ring. Each of the stator rings includes a plurality of teeth with slots defined between adjacent teeth. The stator unit defines a channel between the upper and lower stator rings and outside of the stator shaft. The magnet unit is disposed in the channel and includes at least one magnet. The magnet unit and/or the stator unit is configured to rotate relative to the other of the magnet unit or the stator unit. The collector unit is configured to receive magnetic flux routed from the magnet unit. The magnetic flux routed through the collector unit is responsive to a relative rotational position between the magnet unit and the stator unit.

Relative angle sensor

A sensor assembly includes a housing, a shield member, a magnetic field sensor, and a sensing magnet. The housing is configured to be mounted at least proximate to an electromagnetic coil that generates a first magnetic field to cause a movable component to move linearly along an axis based on the strength of the first magnetic field. The sensing magnet is configured to be coupled to the movable component to move therewith. The magnetic field sensor and the sensing magnet are disposed within a shielded chamber defined by the shield member, which is ferrous to shield the magnetic field sensor and sensing magnet from the first magnetic field. The magnetic field sensor detects an electrical characteristic responsive to a second magnetic field produced by the sensing magnet to monitor a position of the movable component along the axis.

Sensor assembly

A switch assembly includes a magnet, a first Hall device, and a second Hall device. The first and second Hall devices are proximate the magnet. The first Hall device is configured to switch in relation to a first magnetic field threshold. The second Hall device is configured to switch in relation to a second magnetic field threshold. The first magnetic field threshold differs from the second magnetic field threshold.

Switch assembly and system

A position sensor measures a magnetic flux of a magnetic field produced by a magnet system in a first direction and a second direction. Values associated with the measured magnetic flux in the first direction are adjusted based on a first gain and a first offset that are determined based on the measured magnetic flux and a reference magnetic flux in the first direction. Values associated with the measured magnetic flux in the second direction are adjusted based on a second gain and a second offset that are determined based on the measured magnetic flux and a reference magnetic flux in the second direction. A position of the magnet system with respect to the position sensor at a given time may then be determined based on the adjusted values of the magnetic flux in the first and second directions at the given time.
