Methods for installing curtain rod brackets and secure curtain rods to a wall with the curtain rod brackets. The methods involve installation of one or more curtain rod brackets having a back portion, an arm and a curtain rod cradle, and a fastening plate that is configured to engage a wall. The back portion is configured to slidably receive the fastening plate, and includes a channel formed with a pair of opposing side rails, an upper stop and a lower opening.

Methods for installing curtain rod brackets

A system includes a bracket, the bracket comprising a back portion, an arm and a curtain rod cradle, and a fastening plate, a rear of the back portion configured to slidably receive the fastening plate. The rear of the back portion includes a channel formed with a pair of opposing side rails, an upper stop and a lower opening. Methods for using the system to install curtain rod brackets and secure curtain rods to a wall with the curtain rod brackets are also disclosed.

A tension rod assembly includes a tension rod, a first curtain rod bracket assembly, the first curtain rod bracket assembly including a first bracket base, a first bracket arm and a first friction pad, the first bracket base including a first bracket base front, a first bracket base rear and defining a first friction pad mounting opening that communicates the first bracket base front with the first bracket base rear, and a second curtain bracket assembly, the second curtain rod bracket assembly including a second bracket base, a second bracket arm and a second friction pad, the second bracket base including a second bracket base front, a second bracket base rear and defining a second friction pad mounting opening that communicates the second bracket base front with the second bracket base rear.

Curtain rod bracket and cam lock

A shower bar assembly that includes a pair of mounting brackets configured and arranged to be mounted to a wall of a shower stall is disclosed. Each of the mounting brackets has a base portion with a first shelf and a second shelf projecting from the base portion. The first and second shelves each have a retaining peg projecting from each shelf, respectively. A tubular shower bar is included and has two opposing ends. Each of the ends of the tubular shower bar has a pair of surfaces in which each defines an aperture through the tubular shower bar. Each end of the tubular shower bar is configured and arranged to slide onto the first and second shelves of the mounting brackets, with the apertures interlocking with each of the retaining pegs, respectively, to suspend the shower bar between the mounting brackets and to prevent the shower bar from rotating between the brackets.
