An immersive teleconferencing system includes three-dimensional sides positioned about a vertical axis forming a line of reflection of the immersive teleconferencing system. Tree-dimensional sides terminating at ends form an enclosure that houses a camera housed at a substantially central position. A first loudspeaker is disposed above the camera about the vertical axis and a second loudspeaker is disposed below the camera about the vertical axis.

Dual conferencing system

A system controls a teleconferencing device by detecting a current operating state of the teleconferencing device and detecting a contact with a touch-screen device associated with a selection of an audio and a visual input, a selection of an option from a list of options that performs an action in the teleconferencing device, or a transferring of a virtual object between a plurality of devices. The system continuously senses a gesture across the touch-screen device by identifying a first contact with the touch-screen, a distance of a continuous contact with the touch screen, and a last contact with the touch-screen. The process executes a command associated with the selection of an audio and a visual input, the selection of an option from a list of options that performs an action in the teleconferencing device, or the transferring of a virtual object between a plurality of devices.

Mode control and content sharing

A system automatically frames locations by detecting a user's presence within a virtual detection space. The system detects sound in the detection space and converts the sound into electrical signals. The electrical signals are converted into a digital signals at common or periodic sampling rates. The system identifies speech segments in the digital signals and attenuates noise like components within or adjacent to them. The system identifies the physical locations of a speech source generating the speech segments and automatically adjusts a camera framing based on the estimated location of the active speech source generating the speech segments.

Auto-framing through speech and video localizations

A system automatically controls an electronic device's audio by detecting an active sound source presence within an auditory detection space. The system transitions the electronic device to selectively output a desired sound when the active sound source presence is detected and detects sound in the auditory detection space. The system enhances sound and transforms it into electrical signals. The system converts the electrical signals into a digital signal and identifies active sound segments in the digital signals. The system attenuates noise components in the digital signals and locates the physical location of the active sound source. It adjusts an output automatically by muting a second sound source in a second detection space.

Active sound control

A system controls an electronic device in a teleconferencing system through remote screen-receiving devices that access software applications on a screen-sending device. Access is provided through a point-to-point private wireless network. The software applications are replicated on the remote screen-receiving devices. The software allows users of the remote screen-receiving device to simultaneously manipulate or use one or more common software applications. The concurrent manipulation or use occurs without the screen-sending device applying a software application locking.

Interactive broadcast

A system enables collaboration through electronic devices executes software or an operating system feature that allows a first device's computing environment to run remotely on a second devices computing software by scanning predetermined wireless channels to detect remote clients via a communication controller. The system transmits device profiles that include protocol versions that multiple clients support. The system generates a link layer that joins a first device to a second device and generates authenticating keys that establish a communication channel. The system enables operating modes of the first and second devices that establish the content and control of those devices.

Remote management

A computer implemented system controls an electronic device in the absence of a physical contact and/or a radio frequency communication with a user. The system detects the user's presence within a virtual detection range of a camera while the electronic device is in a standby state and transitions the electronic device to an interactive state when the user is detected. The system maintains the interactive state when a detected gesture corresponds to a predefined gesture by processing a comparison of an image of the extended finger against a plurality of images stored in a memory of the electronic device. The system renders a message as a result of the detection of the extended finger and transmits the message as a result of its movement.
