A method for detecting and quantifying additives in a complex aqueous fluid, and a method for detecting an inhibitor of mineral deposition or corrosion, injected in a gas or oil well. The invention also relates to a developer solution including a lanthanide and a chelating agent for detecting said additives or inhibitors.

Method and solution for assaying inhibitors in a petroleum fluid containing water

A method for adjusting, to a pre-determined value, the level of a mineral deposition or corrosion inhibitor injected into a gas or oil well. Using of the time-resolved fluorescence method for detecting and quantifying a mineral deposition or corrosion inhibitor in a fluid from an oil or gas production well.

Method for adjusting the level of inhibitors in an oil or gas well

Novel hybrid nanoparticles, useful for inhibiting or slowing down the formation of sulfur deposits or minerals in a well during the extraction of gas or oil. Specifically, the nanoparticles each include (i) a polyorganosiloxane (POS) matrix; and, optionally as a coating over a lanthanide oxide core, (iii) at least one polymeric scale inhibitor during the extraction of gas or oil. The invention also relates to the method for obtaining the nano-inhibitors and the application of same.

Nano-inhibitors

A copolymer containing a unit including an optionally neutralized styrene sulphonic acid unit and a unit containing at least one optionally neutralized (poly)carboxylic acid unit or a (poly)amido-amine unit, to inhibit or slow the formation of sulphide deposits during the extraction of gas or oil. It also relates to a method to inhibit or slow the formation of sulphide deposits during the extraction of gas or oil, including the injection of a fluid containing the abovementioned copolymer into a wellbore, a subterranean formation or a gas or oil well.
