Channel state information (CSI) can be transmitted to a network node incrementally to increase network efficiency. The CSI feedback framework can be enhanced by allowing a user equipment (UE) to report multiple sets of CSI feedback, where each set can comprise a rank indicator (RI), a pre-coder matrix indicator (PMI), and a channel quality indicator (CQI). Since a different set may have a different sub-band, the CSI feedback framework can support the sub-band rank, wherein rank data from a wideband and the sub-band can be used by the network.

Facilitation of incremental feedback for 5G or other next generation network

Long-term evolution assisted new radio initial access and mobility for 5G or other next generation networks are provided herein. A method can include transmitting, by a first network device of a wireless network and comprising a processor, a first timing synchronization signal and first acquisition information of the first network device to a mobile device. In response to the transmitting and based on a transmission received from the mobile device, a connection between the mobile device and a radio resource control of the wireless network can be facilitated. In addition, in response to the mobile device determining the location of the second timing synchronization signal based on the data indicative of the location of the second timing synchronization signal, the second network device can transmit, to the mobile device, the second timing synchronization signal and second acquisition information of the second network device.

Long-term evolution assisted new radio initial access and mobility for 5G or other next generation networks

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, determining a self-interference channel response of a transceiver of a mobile base station having a transmitter and a receiver. The self-interference channel response spans multiple sub-bands of a predetermined mobile cellular frequency channel. A first sub-band of the multiple sub-bands is identified according to the self-interference channel response and, an estimate is determined, at the receiver, of a first coupled transmit power level of the transmitter when operating within the first sub-band. A receiver sensitivity is adjusted according to the first coupled transmit power level to obtain an adjustment adapted to increase receiver sensitivity, while restricting operation of the receiver to a substantially linear region. The adjustment allows a transmission within the first sub-band and a reception within a second sub-band of the plurality of sub-bands to occur simultaneously at the mobile base station. Various embodiments disclosed herein provide for facilitating updating a slot format used for establishing a radio sidelink. According an embodiment, a system can receive a slot format over a sidelink, wherein the slot format comprises a first release parameter and a transmit period. The system can further facilitate determining whether the first release parameter matches a second release parameter stored in the memory. The system can further facilitate, in response to the determining indicating that the first release parameter matched the second release parameter, updating a resource map used to transmit data, resulting in an updated resource map. The system can further facilitate transmitting the slot format based on the transmit period.

Forward compatible new radio sidelink slot format signalling

Intelligent hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback can better support link adaption. Thus, in addition to the traditional HARQ feedback, which is to relay acknowledgement (ACK) and negative acknowledgement (NAK) data based on a decoding result, a new state for the HARQ feedback can be represented as 'ACK+'. Consequently, ACK+ can be used to indicate to the network that a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) of a current data packet is too conservative, and the user equipment (UE) is capable of supporting a more aggressive MCS.

Hybrid automatic repeat request feedback for outer loop adaptation for 5G or other next generation network

A delay doppler domain transformation can be used to estimate characteristics of a channel between a base station and a user equipment or alternatively, between the user equipment and another user equipment. Thus, the velocity and the distance position of the user equipment can be calculated. For example, a signal received in the time-frequency domain, can be converted to the delay doppler domain by the base station. In response to the conversion, the base station can estimate the velocity of the user equipment. The velocity can be utilized by various applications. For example, the velocity can be utilized to alert the other user equipment to the location or an anticipated location of the user equipment.

Facilitation of enhanced channel state information estimation for 5G or other next generation network

Various embodiments disclosed herein provide for facilitating creating a mesh connectivity between network nodes in a hierarchical network. According an embodiment, a method comprising receiving a first condition, wherein the first condition indicates whether to setup a mesh connection with a first distributed unit node of a first node device. The method further comprising, in response to determining that the first condition indicates establishment of the mesh connection, facilitating establishing a peer-to-peer connection directly with the first distributed unit node of the first node device and a second distributed unit node of a second node device, wherein the first distributed unit node comprises wireless communication technologies and the second distributed unit node comprises wireless communication technologies. The method further comprising facilitating transmission of a control message or a user plane message in order to exchange connection information between the first distributed unit node and the second distributed unit node.

Mesh connectivity between network nodes in hierarchical network

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, performing dynamic beam selection and coordination to support space division multiplexing (SDM) and Full Duplex operation for integrated access and backhaul (IAB) in 5G new radio (NR) networks. Facilitating a group hybrid automatic repeat request procedure for sidelink group-case in advanced networks (e.g., 4G, 5G, 6G, and beyond) is provided herein. Operations of a method can comprise determining, by a first device comprising a processor, that first information received via a sidelink control channel is successfully decoded and that second information received via a sidelink shared channel is not successfully decoded. The first information and the second information can be received from a second device. Further, the method can comprise transmitting, by the first device, negative acknowledgement data based on a group hybrid automatic repeat request feedback procedure. The method also can comprise receiving, by the first device, retransmission of the second information via the sidelink shared channel from a group of devices in response to the negative acknowledgement data.

Facilitating a group hybrid automatic repeat request procedure for sidelink group case in advanced networks

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining compressed sounding reference signal (SRS) information associated with a user end device from a distributed unit device. The distributed unit device compresses SRS information utilizing a first compression algorithm resulting in the compressed SRS information. Further embodiments include decompressing the compressed SRS information utilizing a first decompression algorithm resulting in the SRS information and determining SRS channel estimation based on the SRS information. Additional embodiments include determining a group of beamforming weights based on the SRS channel estimation, and adjusting an antenna array according to the group of beamforming weights. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Methods, systems, and devices to compress reference signals to enhance massive multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) uplink in split radio access network (RAN) deployments

According to an embodiment, a system can comprise a processor and a memory that can store executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations. The operations can include generating a reference signal in an initial domain, and first transforming the reference signal into a time-frequency domain, resulting in a first transformed reference signal. The operations can further include transmitting the first transformed reference signal to a user equipment for a second transformation to be applied to the transformed reference signal by the user equipment, resulting in a second transformed reference signal. Further, in response to the transmitting the first transformed reference signal, receiving a signal from the user equipment that was configured, based on the second transformed reference signal.

Generating wireless reference signals in a different domain for transmission

Facilitating generic reciprocity-based channel state information acquisition frameworks for advanced networks (e.g., 4G, 5G, and beyond) is provided herein. Operations of a system can comprise determining first uplink channel state information for a first mobile device based on first downlink channel state information received from the first mobile device. The first mobile device can be from a group of mobile devices in a wireless communications network. The operations can also comprise training a model on a difference between the first downlink channel state information and the first uplink channel state information to a defined level of confidence. Further, the operations can comprise employing the model to determine, without receipt of second downlink channel state information from a second mobile device of the group of mobile devices, second uplink channel state information for the second mobile device.
