A method, computer system, and a computer program product for real-time space reservation using augmented reality (AR) is provided. The present invention may include, receiving, by an AR device, a visual input of a user environment. The present invention may include, correlating, by the AR device, the received visual input with reservation data associated with the user environment. The present invention may include, displaying, by the AR device, an augmented view of the user environment including at least one reservation status linked to a corresponding space in the user environment. The present invention may include, receiving, by the AR device, a reservation request based on the augmented view of the user environment.

Real-time space reservation using augmented reality

Apparatuses and methods are provided for facilitating air-cooling of, for instance, one or more electronics racks within a data center. The apparatus includes an air-moving assembly and one or more flywheels. The air-moving assembly includes a shaft, one or more mechanical fans coupled to the shaft to rotate, at least in part, with the shaft, and a motor coupled to the shaft to rotatably drive the shaft. The flywheel(s) is sized and coupled to the shaft of the air-moving assembly to store rotational energy, and to facilitate, for a specified period of time, continued rotation of the shaft during interruption in power to the motor. In one implementation, the flywheel(s) is sized and coupled to the shaft to facilitate, for the specified time period, continued rotation of the shaft at a specified percentage, or greater, rotational speed of the shaft compared with shaft speed when rotatably driven by the motor.

The computer-implemented method for identifying power line segments and power line redundancies in a datacenter include; transmitting a data packet from equipment compilers to a host program, where the data packet includes unique datacenter equipment identifiers, the datacenter equipment includes IT equipment and a power source; identifying one or more power line segments from the power source to the IT equipment; and determining an existence of a power line redundancy between the power source and the IT equipment.

A method for detecting and notifying of various potential hazards may include receiving a plurality of biometric data values by a first set of sensors of a sensing device. The biometric data values may correspond to a health state of a person. A plurality of environmental data values may be received by a second set of sensors of the sensing device. The environmental data values may correspond to a safety state of an environment that the person is in. The sensing device may compare the plurality of biometric data and environmental data values against respective models of biometric and environmental threshold data values that indicate a likelihood of a person or environment in an unhealthy or unsafe state. The sensing device may notify one or more communication devices if at least one of the biometric or environmental data values exceeds at least one of the threshold data values.

A computer-implemented method, computer program product, and computer system for identifying power line segments and power line redundancies in a datacenter are provided. The computer-implemented method for identifying power line segments and power line redundancies in a datacenter include; transmitting a data packet from equipment compilers to a host program, where the data packet includes unique datacenter equipment identifiers, the datacenter equipment includes IT equipment and a power source; identifying one or more power line segments from the power source to the IT equipment; and determining an existence of a power line redundancy between the power source and the IT equipment.

Validating power paths to it equipment

Apparatuses and methods are provided for facilitating air-cooling of, for instance, one or more electronics racks within a data center. The apparatus includes an air-moving assembly and an auxiliary turbine drive. The air-moving assembly includes a shaft, one or more mechanical fans coupled to the shaft to rotate, at least in part, with the shaft, and a motor coupled to the shaft to rotatably drive the shaft. The auxiliary turbine drive is coupled to the shaft of the air-moving assembly to provide backup rotational energy to the shaft to facilitate continued rotation of the shaft during interruption in power to the motor. In one implementation, the auxiliary turbine drive is configured to facilitate, for a specified time period, continued rotation of the shaft at a specified percentage, or greater, rotational speed of the shaft compared with a shaft speed when rotatably driven by the motor.

A system is provided and includes a plurality of acoustic devices disposed in locations arrayed throughout a defined space, each one of the plurality of acoustic devices being receptive of acoustical attributes such as sound or noise levels generated in the defined space and configured to issue signals reflective of the generated acoustical attributes and an acoustic data unit disposed in signal communication with each of the plurality of acoustic devices. The acoustic data unit is receptive of the signals issued from the plurality of acoustic devices and configured to convert the signals into digital acoustic data and to output the digital acoustic data in a serialized format compatible with a network protocol.
