A process for supplementing production of liquid fuel from carbon oxides is disclosed. The process comprises contacting a hydrocarbon feed stream with a catalyst in a reactor to produce a reactor effluent stream. The reactor effluent stream is separated to provide a dry gas stream. The dry gas further separated into a CO2 rich stream and a CO2 lean stream. The CO2 lean stream is used to produce methanol. The methanol is contacted with an MTO catalyst to produce an olefin stream. The olefin stream is oligomerized by contacting it with an oligomerization catalyst in an oligomerization reactor to produce an oligomerized olefin stream which is further hydrogenated. A sustainable aviation fuel is taken from the hydrogenated oligomerized stream.

Process for increasing liquid fuel yield from carbon oxides

A process for regenerating catalyst from a fluidized catalytic process is disclosed. The process comprises passing a COoxidation stream to a regenerator in which coke is combusted from catalyst to provide a COrich flue gas stream. The COrich flue gas stream is separated into an underflow stream comprising catalyst fines and a COrich flue gas overflow stream. The overflow stream is separated into a recycle stream and a power recovery stream. The recycle stream of the overflow stream is recycled to the regenerator.

Process for regenerating catalyst from a fluidized catalytic process

A process for separating a carbon dioxide product stream from a flue gas stream is disclosed. The process comprises passing a stream of carbon dioxide and oxygen to a regenerator to generate a catalyst stream and produce a flue gas stream comprising carbon oxides, and/or nitrogen oxides, catalyst fines, oxygen, and water. Heat is transferred to a water stream from the flue gas stream in a heat recovery unit to form a cooled flue gas stream and a steam stream. Water is removed from the cooled flue gas stream in a dehydration unit to provide a dehydrated flue gas stream. The dehydrated flue gas stream is separated into an oxygen stream and a carbon dioxide product stream.

Process for separating a carbon dioxide product stream from a flue gas stream

Vent gases from a catalyst cooler are directed downstream or outside of the catalyst regenerator to avoid sending air to a location where after burn may occur. Vent gases contain oxygen that when contacted with carbon monoxide in regenerator flue gas can cause after burn to occur at a location which lacks sufficient catalyst density to serve as a heat sink. Locating the cooling media supply in the top of the catalyst cooler enables cooled catalyst to drain from the bottom of the catalyst cooler and fitting more cooler tubes in the catalyst cooler.

Catalyst regneration with inverted cooler

A fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) process for cracking multiple feedstocks in a FCC apparatus comprising a first set of feed distributors having first distributor tips and a second set of feed distributors having second distributor tips is provided. A first feed is injected into the riser from first distributor tips. A second feed is injected into the riser from second distributor tips. The first distributor tips and the second distributor tips are positioned at different radii in the riser. The first feed and the second feed are cracked in the riser in the presence of an FCC catalyst to provide a cracked effluent stream. The first distributor tips and the second distributor tips are located into a region of lower catalyst density and a region of higher catalyst density respectively in the riser.
