An analysis device according to the present disclosure, which obtains data about a sample, is characterized by comprising: a placement unit on which the sample is placed; a data obtaining unit which obtains data about the sample; a user interface unit which allows a user to make access to processing of the analysis device; a communication unit which communicates with an online authentication unit that authenticates the user online; an offline authentication unit which authenticates the user offline when the communication unit cannot communicate with the online authentication unit; and a restriction unit which restricts the processing accessible to the user when the user is authenticated by the offline authentication unit as compared to when the user is authenticated by the online authentication unit.

Analysis device and authentication method

A projection type image display device correctly detects the position of contact of an electronic pen and a finger on a manipulation surface without the provision of a touch sensor. Light containing an image is projected, illuminating light that is different from the light containing the image is projected onto a manipulation surface which at least partially overlaps an image projection surface onto which the light has been projected, and an image of the manipulation surface is captured. A first detection process detects the position at which a first object being manipulated, a distal end of which emits light, touches the manipulation surface, a second detection process detects the position at which a second object being manipulated, which does not emit light, touches the manipulation surface, and at least part of the image being displayed is changed on the basis of the detection result from either detection process.

Projection type image display device, manipulation detection device and projection type image display method

An operation detection device includes: first and second illuminations that irradiate illumination light from different positions onto an operation surface on which a user performs an operation, and a camera that captures the operation surface together with at least two fingers of a same hand of the user. First and second shadows of a same hand of the user are extracted from captured images obtained by the camera. Respective touch points of the same hand of the user on the operation surface are detected including when the first and second shadows corresponding to first and second fingers of the same hand have overlapping areas.

Operation detection device, operation detection method and projector

A projection type video display device includes a video projecting unit that displays a video by projecting the video onto a video projection plane, sensors and that detect an operator who operates the projection type video display device, operation detecting units and that detect a motion of the operator based on outputs of the sensors, and a control unit that controls the video projecting unit based on a detection result of the operation detecting unit. Preferably, a sensing area in which detections by the sensors are performed when a direction of the video projection plane is vertical and is set to differ from that when the direction of the video projection plane is horizontal.

Projection type video display device and projection type video display method

In a projection-type video display device that displays an image by projecting the image onto a projection object starting from a desk surface, a display screen on which a position and a gesture operation of a user are reflected is displayed in a predetermined area. An illumination and a camera are disposed in the projection-type video display device installed on the desk surface, a gesture using user's fingers is detected, and, for example, a menu screen and an operation guide are displayed according to the gesture. The shadows of the fingers are photographed by the camera, and a gesture is detected. According to the gesture, the display screen is moved, rotated, divided, or enlarged/reduced, or a menu screen is displayed. The display direction is determined in consideration of the direction of sides of the desk.

Projection-type video display device

A shadow region extraction portion compares the brightness of an image captured by a camera with a threshold value and extracts first and second shadows caused by first and second light sources for a user's finger. An approach degree detection portion detects an approach degree for the finger with reference to a manipulation surface from distance d between two feature points in the first and second shadows. A contact point detection portion detects contact point P for the finger with reference to the manipulation surface from positions of the two feature points. A direction detection portion detects a direction pointed by the finger from directions of contours corresponding to the first and second shadows. A display control portion generates display control data for a manipulation target apparatus based on detection result data.

Manipulation detection apparatus, manipulation detection method, and projector

An operation detection device includes: first and second illuminations that irradiate illumination light from different positions onto an operation surface on which a user performs an operation; a camera that captures the operation surface together with an operation part (finger) of the user; a shadow region extraction unit that extracts first and second shadows of the operation part of the user from a captured image obtained by the camera; a contour detection unit that detects contours of each of the first and second shadows extracted; and a touch point detection unit that detects a touch point of the operation part of the user on the operation surface from the distance between the contours.
