An impact detector includes a weight having a circular periphery, a case in which the weight is contained, an interior of which defines a transition path that connects an initial position and an impact detection position, and a restriction portion projecting from the interior of the case into the transition path. The weight moves through the transition path to the impact detection position with a circumferential surface of the weight in contact with the interior of the case when the case receives an impact in a predetermined direction, and the restriction portion restricts movement of the weight toward the impact detection position when the case receives impact in a direction other than the predetermined direction.

Impact detector and packaging container

An impact detector includes a circular weight, a case containing the weight, in which a transition path for the weight is formed, a planar elastic member extending in the case with a first end oriented in a direction in which the weight move upon an impact in a first direction, a fixing member fixing the planar member to the case. The planar elastic member includes a folded portion disposed on a second end of the planar elastic member, and a first arm and a second arm both extending from the folded portion. An end portion of the first arm holds the weight at an initial position, and the first arm deforms to release the weight upon the impact in the first direction. The fixing member includes a sandwiching portion sandwiching the folded portion and a contact portion in contact with both the first arm and the second arm.

An impact detector includes a case, an impact indicator disposed on a front side of the case, to indicate an impact history of the impact detector, a first weight that moves inside the case to a side to which the case falls, causing the impact indicator to indicate the impact history by moving through at least one of a first transition path and a second transition path, a first guide member to guide the first weight to a first impact detection position along the first transition path when the case falls in a first direction, and a second guide member to guide the first weight to the second impact detection position along the second transition path when the case falls in a second direction. The first transition path at least partly overlaps with the second transition path on a projection plane on the front side of the case.

A packing unit includes a pallet, a structural base, and a fixing device. The pallet mounts an article thereon. The structural base has a fixed portion and is detachably attached to the article. The fixing device fixes the article to the pallet and includes an article fixing member slidably supported by the pallet. The article fixing member is movable between a fix position at which the article fixing member is engaged with the fixed portion of the structural base of the article to fix the article to the pallet and a release position at which the engagement of the article fixing member and the fixed portion is released.

Packing unit

An impact detection sensor is attached to a packaging container. When the packaging container is subjected to impacts downward in a vertical direction twice, i.e., a bottom surface of the packaging container is subjected to impacts twice, a weight moves downward in the vertical direction by the application of the first impact, and is seen through a weight indicator unit located on the bottom of an impact detection sensor. At the time of the application of the second impact, the weight moved downward in the vertical direction is prevented from moving back to. an initial position by a pressing portion, and seen through the same bottom weight indicator unit.

Impact detecting apparatus and packaging system

A packaging device includes a bottom plate and a mounting plate arranged above the bottom plate at a specific distance form the bottom plate. An article to be transported is placed on the mounting plate. A cushioning member is arranged in a space between the bottom plate and the mounting plate. The cushioning member protects the article from shocks. A reinforcing unit is arranged on the bottom plate in the space between the bottom plate and the mounting plate so that support members of the article rest on the reinforcing unit.

Packaging device and buffer

A packing tool for packing large articles such as image forming apparatuses has a pallet to place the article, and an article-fixing member to secure the article to the pallet. The article-fixing member is accommodated in an accommodating section in the pallet. When securing the article to the pallet, the article-fixing member is pulled out and wound around the article.

Pallet packing tool

When a first article is to be delivered to a customer and a second article is to be collected from the customer, first rack components required for delivery of the first article and second rack components not required for delivery of the first article, yet required for collecting the second article, are specified. Delivery procedure and collection procedure of the articles using the specified first rack components and second rack components are instructed to a worksite. Accordingly, delivery and collection of the articles can be carried out by making efficient use of the rack components commonly used for the first article and the second article.

An article transporting/storing device of the present invention includes a table to be loaded with a desired article. A pair of post units are spaced from each other, and each include two posts connected together. A pair of unit supporting devices respectively support the two post units on the table such that the post units are selectively locked in a position in which they stand substantially vertically on the table or unlocked and allowed to be angularly moved toward the mount surface of the table between the post units.

First and second coupling members are provided between neighboring two columns so that the distance between neighboring columns detachably attached to the four corners of a pallet on which a commodity is placed can be freely changed. Guiding members for guiding an upper commodity carrying and storing apparatus when the upper commodity carrying and storing apparatus is stacked on a lower commodity carrying and storing apparatus are provided on a top plate.

First and second coupling members are provided between two adjoining supports so that a space between the two supports detachably attached to corners of a pallet with an article placed thereon can be freely adjusted.

Article transporting/storing apparatus and article transported by the apparatus

An image generating device is provided with a control mechanism which controls an exit paper delivery speed after an image has been fixed to a form. The exit paper delivery speed is changed depending on information detected about the process of generating the image to prevent the form from being delivered with wrinkles. The information detected includes size of paper intervals between forms, length of forms, and whether the image generating process is a repeat copying or continuous form feeding process.

Image generating device

A heat roller type fixing device for an electrophotographic copier, printer, facsimile apparatus or similar electrostatic image recorder includes a hollow cylindrical fixing roller having a heating element thereinside and a hollow cylindrical pressing roller held in pressing contact with the fixing roller. A shaft is received in the pressing roller while two annular pressing members are mounted on the shaft through individual bearings so as to urge the cylindrical inner periphery of the pressing roller. The pressing members are each movable on and along the shaft to any predetermined distance as measured from an end of the pressing roller.
