A method for authenticating an individual for login to a server computer includes receiving at the server computer data for a first authentication image from an electronic computing device. First attributes are identified of one or more similar geometrical shapes from the data for the first authentication image. A determination is made as to whether the first attributes of the one or more similar geometrical shapes from the data for the first authentication image correspond to second attributes from a second authentication image accessible on or by the server computer. When the first attributes correspond to the second attributes, the individual is authenticated on the server computer.

Unique identification of customer using an image

Theft identification, prevention, and remedy are provided. A determination is made that a client device has been compromised. When the device makes the determination, a message is conveyed to the server and the server replies with a security challenge. When the server makes the determination, the security challenge is automatically sent to the device. An intelligence manager on the device attempts to answer the security question without interaction from the user. If there is an anomaly, a challenge is output to the user. Based on a false response to the challenge, a current data stream may be disrupted and removed from the device. Further, other devices in the network may be notified about the compromised device.

Threat identification, prevention, and remedy

The innovation discloses systems and methods of authenticating users using vein or blood vessel characteristics. The innovation retrieves, based on an authentication request, an authentication image associated with a user. The authentication image comprises a first predetermined point and a second predetermined point. The innovation projects the authentication image onto a body part of the user and reads a blood vessel from the body part. The user orients the blood vessel such that it corresponds to the predetermined points in the projected authentication image. The user is authenticated when the blood vessel appears to connect the predetermined points in the direction of the blood flow.
